I’m seriously curious. His development was coming along nicely and was a gamer. Tougher than shite too. Took a lot of big hits in the Ag game. I was impressed.

I think he was being a baby about us starting nuss over him against Arkansas and he felt the reason we went back to him was so that nuss could keep his redshirt

Probably figured he would lose his job to Walker Howard. Max is a decent QB but I don't he is a QB that can win you a championship. His pocket presence is not good and his arm is average and lacks accuracy on his deep ball.

I hate to see Johnson leave because he seemed like a good person and was my favorite LSU player. But the hire they made was a disaster and I understand why no one wants to stay.

I am to. We are about to get a real offensive coaching staff again.
He could get better at things, but he was only a sophomore with 1 full year of starting.
My guess is they didnt like nussmeiers dad telling orgeron to play his kid.

He regressed bigly under Pootz. The dad probably told him to get out. I’m glad he handled A&M and Florida but I won’t really miss the Johnsons if I’m being honest.

Ole noodle McGee. I'm convinced the only reason we beat Aggie is because he was being hit as he threw it.
Otherwise all year, if their was a play to be made, Max was likely going panic half a second in and throw off his back foot after stepping into pressure.
