I bet you have. Just a little tune I've always liked.

They haven't had much reason to play it recently.

Are you kidding me? They play it for first downs, a completed pass, when a player ties their shoe. Hell, Tennessee plays Rocky Top when the opposing team scores.

Alabama has some song called Rama Jama (or something like that). They allegedly play it when they beat you.

We've never heard it.

Not a fight song, but I've always been a fan of A&M's drum cadences

Six specific cadences in succession. During practices, the sophomore drummers yell the number preceding the next one.

The up beatness (that a word?) of Arkansas fight song cannot be beat. It gets those people rowdy!

It used to be much faster but has slowed down over the years. Sadly the band's marching and energy is less than it was years ago(true for many bands). Here's an example of a faster Arkansas Fight: Hog Band plays fight song at 1984 Liberty Bowl

i'm incredibly biased and apparently i'm in the minority who thinks glory, glory is a good fight song

-so excluding that my favorite fight song in the SEC is Auburn's. I also love their 3rd down song, forgot it for the moment.

-LSU's chinese bandits and their pregame jam are pretty damn hard to top. not a fan of the fight song but i love the rest of them

-i actually also like when the turds play gator bait. it's catchy and cool to see the fans interact

-i also like rocky top but sadly UT plays the thing so damn much i grow to hate it almost as much as boomer sooner or march of troy or w/e USC plays on repeat

-as for the few who said the UGA 3rd down song, I'm with ya, those are honestly my favorite of any SEC jams. I like how after big plays they play bad, bad leroy brown and how on third down we play dies irae which i think is pretty damn underrated. just hearing that song gets me pumped up for football. what i love most about it though is that the redcoats have played those 2 songs since i was a kid and i get as pumped now as i did then with a whiskey additive

- best non SEC jam though has to be ND's rakes of mallow

ETA: actually, best thing ever is when our bugler belts out the battle hymn and the band plays in the background after LINK

I was in the Auburn Marching Band at that 1984 Liberty Bowl.

Noble Men of Kyle reminds me of something played while credits are rolling and you're leaving the theater.
No comment on Rocky Top. Doesn't deserve one.

Best Fight Song? War Eagle

Best Overall Song? Noble Men of Kyle

This.

Although I gotta say, I'm also partial to "Exodus," and "Midway," from the Aggie Band

You only gotta hear all six in succession once, and it's in your blood. Some of my earliest memories are of my dad tapping out those cadences while he'd be mindlessly drumming his fingers on the table or something. I knew that rhythm before I could understand where it came from.

You may not know this, but there's a specific pass-back for every song the Aggie Band plays:

War Hymn - Hold up one finger

Spirit of Aggieland - Motion "S"

12th Man - Hold up one finger, then change it to two

Noble Men of Kyle - Hand over heart

Ballad of the Green Berets - pat head

Strategic Air Command (SAC) - hold hand up like you're cupping a "sac"

Theme from Patton - salute

Theme from Midway - have one hand form a donut hole and have a finger on the other hand go "mid way"

March Exodus - Form an "X" with arms

Don't remember the others

I actually did know that. I was kind of an Aggie Band junkie growing up, so I'd watch the drum majors almost as much as the games when we'd go

Didn't know all the specific ones, though Good stuff!

is it time to introduce A&M to Shirley Q Liquor?

A-Ruh-K-A-N-C-S, Ole Miss and LSU all have renditions of Miss Shirley singing their fight songs. there used to be an Auburn War Eagle but it seems to have disappeared. she seems to like LSU's the most.

welcome to the SEC TAMU....

Shirley Q Liquor sings your song

Shirley's TD for LSU

Dun got dat Razaback Spirit

I like this too because it was made out of pure envy deep inside their burnt orange hearts. It is a perfect representation of their obsession with us.

This is an insane troll attempt though

Best fight song - Hold that Tiger

Bost song overall was Dixie With Love, though. I'm not even an Ole Miss fan and I was pissed when they banned it. It really is a beautiful song.

1. LSU pregame
2. From Dixie with Love- Ole Miss (maybe it will come back)

Would like Rocky Top but simply can't when something is played that much during a game. Haven't been to a Tenn. game in several years though to know if they backed down on the frequency. I laugh at Shirley q liquor's rocky top version.

If you're not from Tennessee, this should be absolute blasphemy from any other SEC team.
