Arkansas enjoyed above average coaching from Broyles, Holtz, Hatfield and for a brief period Petrino.
Average to down right horrible from
Nutt, Bert, Pittman, Crowe and Chad.
Arkansas recruits well but fails to maximize in player development and in game coaching is just bad.

Hired a fat loser re-tread O line coach after low balling Kiffin and Norvell.

Yes but it wouldn't take much for them to hit the bottom again and this game is a good example of spiraling out of control.

He won 9 games for the first time in a decade after the majority of teams not being bowl eligible, plus won consecutive bowl games including an Outback Bowl against Penn State. We had a statistically need to in the nation offense, and the fans called for all of his coordinators to be shite canned. Then he made awful OC and DC hires.
The majority of our fan base has never played or coaches football at any level.

Jesus Christ move back- you’ve been here 40 fricking years according to your comment and you still refer to yourself as homesick. You’re more pathetic than our football team.

Bert won two bowls in a row and steadily got worse.

Setting aside the joking at Arkys expense, Pittman is not a horrible hire, imho. He did exactly what he was called to do, pull Arky out of the embarrassing situation they were in. He should retire after this season and live the good life, he deserves it.

What is the status of Rocket? Got to think when he gets back Arky gets some good offensive production.

Enos is trash. Cody Kennedy should have been fired last year. Titboss is in over his head.

Don't know as of right now but I expect he will have a down year. The OL will continue to make adjustments as the season goes on.

Sam was overwhelmed from his first day here.

It may sound like BS, but ARK leaving the SWC was damaging to their ability to compete at a high level. Our rivalry drove Arkansas to a higher level. The pure hate they held for Texas, and we, them, made both programs better.
I have a gut feeling Arkansas will improve once our mutual hate starts to truly shine through again.

It is true that when Arkansas left the SWC, they fell of.
It destroyed recruiting in Texas in an era where you had to go to the games to watch these teams.
Arkansas should have continued to play Texas or A&M and that would have helped them in the SEC.
But instead they had to recruit unfamiliar areas such as Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida as examples.
It didn't help that Ken Hatfield left, the facilities were not SEC standards and Jack Crowe losing to the Citadel. He also had the first losing season since the 60s.
Arkansas quit trying and just feels so lost in the SEC.
I do agree that playing Texas again but this loser football culture has been stuck with them since the Citadel loss and the fans are really the victims.
Arkansas is good at making excuses when they lose games they shouldn't, that didn't happen when they standards.

I’ve always thought of Arkansas as being on the same level as a Baylor or Memphis. Seems like they’re doing OK from my perspective.

Arkansas recruits well
You don’t recruit well enough to be a top tier team in the SEC. When does Arkansas ever get a nationally Top Ten recruiting class?
Georgia, Alabama, & LSU get one virtually every year. Others like Florida, Texas A&M and Auburn get multiple Top Ten classes in a 4/5 year period.

Talent wise we are Bette across the board compared to last season. We will rebound

Don’t know. Maybe this week but don’t know if it matters

So you think Arkansas lost to BYU because of lack of talent?
