But despite all this, OU fans are not insecure, and we definitely do not cling to others in the conference or beat our chest about other teams accomplishments like you do in the SEC. Alabama is the only blue blood in the SEC, LSU is slowly on the rise with a couple more trophies.

What good does it do you to be a blue blood if you havent won a championship in 15 years despite being in position several times?
Sounds more like yall have blue balls to me.

Hell, if we're giving it to 1-loss teams that won weak conferences, why not give Memphis the shot?

They beat more ranked opponants than OU, and even beat an SEC team OOC. Looked damn good against a top 10 Penn. St. teams too.

Well shite, we should have a Notre dame/Oklahoma/bama/usc playoff every year and the rest of us will just go kick rocks.

The Sooners performance vs USC in 2004 BCS NC game was insulting and without honor.

But but Baylor’s REALLY good this year!

Come on, I think it was a fair post by the OU_FAN. OU has numerous Heisman winners and is 1 of 7 programs North of 900 wins. LSU is one of the next 5 North of 800. I think we are at 812 Now. So Bama is a true Blue Blood, LSU is in light Sky Blue territory and a 4th NC in the consensus Poll era going back to the start of the AP era (1936 I think if I remember correctly) increases LSU's blue coloring.

I am glad LSU is playing Clemson just to hopefully shut up Dabo but on the other hand, the 14-0 season so far has wins over Texas, Bama and OU (all in the 900 plus win club) plus wins over UGA (800 win club) and Florida and Auburn who are both North of 730.

Knocking off Ohio State, another member of the 900 win club would have made this a hell of a resume in terms of all time blue bloods knocked off in 1 season. But a win over Clemson who is around 760 wins and the winner of 29 straight and 2 of the last 3 NC's would be pretty damn good as well.

Oklahoma is a bye for whoever they play in the playoffs. No BDF team should be there as proven time and time again

Seems the tradition now is shitting the big game.

2003 LSU
2004 USC
2008 Florida
All of the previously mentioned CFP games.

What?

UCLA
Oregon State
Mississippi State
Boston College

These aren't P5 teams in this legend's mind, y'all.

And beat a team without its QB or WR1. I'm sure those two could've overcome the 3 point deficit.

That's why she is here.

Closest thing to your team being in a conference is to troll said conference's message boards...I guess.

Also do you honestly think Oregon would have given lsu a fight?

Oregon at least has some speed on defense and maybe the fastest defensive end in college football.

They only scored 2 fewer points against Auburn than LSU did.
