Your only loss is to a top-4 team that also was dissed by the voters. But of course we need to keep Notre Dame up there. Who hasn’t beaten any team with much of a pulse, and couldn’t take control over the game against N Carolina until the 4th Q.

The AP poll is, and has always been, a valid data point for discussion involving college sports,
And as this is a subsection that narrowly focuses on the Southeastern Conference, and the University of Kentucky is a member of said conference in good standing. . .they are appropriate to discuss here.
Perhaps you would feel more comfortable here.

They got down by 17 to a pretty terrible South Carolina team and had to win by 1 in overtime
I think reevaluating a team based on a bad performance is fair, regardless of result.
They went from 24 to 26 also, not really that big of a drop. It just feels worse since it was out of the pool and not like 15 to 17.
