Teams(&people) from the north usually lag behind in football, as well as politics.
They try to be high brow about things. This isn’t the 1970s anymore and the southern schools are leading the way.

The Big 12 plays shite football and I'm glad when their teams get stomped in high profile bowl games every year.

Oklahoma State has a shot if they run the table going 11-0. They easily can win out. Other than that, the XII is basically eliminated.

The only three teams that deserve to even have a look are Iowa, Nebraska, and Ohio State because they wanted to play football and stood up against the fig brigade at least.
