With no turnovers. He was also like 16 for 20. So 80%

And lost by three TD's and could only throw for one himself against a G5 school. But as long as garbage time checkdowns reinforce your confidence in this guy, great.

I was fairly surprised Freeze went with him last season. Dude was mid at Mich State and looked shell-shocked at times last year.

You think he got garbagetime checkdowns? NM State was out for blood and you think they were rolling prevent? Pretty sure he got benched that game anyway.

Mid was an upgrade at Auburn. I know how much you loved Ashford and his 49% passing and all.

Thorne plays a very uninspiring a brand of football. Why wasn’t he getting his teammates ready to play?

Auburn fans shouldn’t have to settle for another year of it, especially with the stud WR’s y’all just signed.

One of the coolest things about Payton Thorne is that he has gotten worse statistically for three years in a row. That is unusual and hard to do while still remaining a starter.

Payton Thorne Career Statistics

2021 RTG: 148.1
2022 RTG: 131.2
2023 RTG: 129.1

I can’t wait to see how much he continues to regress under the tutelage of Reverend Freeze. Maybe he can get it down below 100 this season.

He didnt rush the two and he isnt the reason why our Punt Returner cannot catch a punt.

Dont forget those tidbits.

Fat chance with DeBore's defense waiting on us.

There is nothing wrong with a little friendly bet here or there to get the juices flowing.
