So the Auburn qb will be the same guy that started last season? I realize that

Freeze couldn’t recruit and game plan the same time but while he was recruiting 5 or 6 receivers did he never consider finding a qb that could get the ball to them? Or did he try but strike out on qbs?

That QB nearly beat Bama. What's the problem here.

It's not his fault Auburn rushed 2 or the Punt Returner dropped the punt.

Capitalizing Punt Returner was a nice touch.

The Ints were basically hail marys and 75% of the incompletions were before he completed the first pass. He settled down in the second half and completed several third and long completions in the 2nd half

He also has over 65 TDs in his NCAA career. Try telling me 65 TDS cannot pass. Does not work.

1755 yards, 61% completion pct, 16 tds snd 10 interceptions but if you are good with that then fine with me. And no, I don’t think Milroe was great either though better than that I must confess.

My point, thought, is that Freeze going for so many receivers and the same crappy qb doesn’t make sense. I must assume, then, that he tried to sign some decent qbs and failed.

148 passing yards and 1 TD against New Mexico State.

With no turnovers. He was also like 16 for 20. So 80%

I guess that could be a dig but it really isnt.

I think I speak for many on here when I say there is absolutely no problem. I love the idea of Payton Thorne being Auburn’s quarterback for many years to come. I don’t know what all paperwork is required to apply for an additional year of eligibility, but this forum can make sure it gets handled.

He has proven he can throw 28 TDs in one season if he isnt running for his life. Thorne isnt amazing, but I need a bridge QB and that's it. Give me a Jacob Coker and we are cooking with gas.
