Too fricking early in the season for fricking stat wars.
Anytime you're left with comparing Arizona St and Auburn and then the teams they played and etc., you know it's too early.

Awesome. This must mean that A&M has won some SEC games.

I was told none of this was possible under John Chavis. It seems I was misinformed by some less than reputable Cajuns.

First, play someone. Second, you didn't do too poorly at sacks last season. #22 nationally in 2014 (only behind Miss St. and Mizzou in the SEC). No surprise there since the defense is more experienced as it returns 6 starters (5 of which are in the front 7).

But..if you want to give Chavis credit for something you already had, go for it.

Lotta insecure LSU fans up in this here thread

Yet, aTm fans are looking for some justification of life on defense!!!

If I'm not mistaken, that's the very definition of "insecure".....

LSU gave up 21 points to jeremy johnson

1st half 24-0
1.96 yards/rush (The engine behind the Gus bus offense)
53.1 completion pct by Auburn

We did what was needed. We're doing just fine.

Not only this but LSU was 104 in sacks last year. This year we are currently 23 in the county and that's with a game behind everyone else. We Finally have a pass rush thank you KS!!!!

Maybe Mack picked the wrong school. DTs at LSU are getting coaching, sacks and attention.

Hell, LSU as a team is getting more sacks, tied for 4th place with only two games played. Mucho improvement. I will take that.

Even the ESPN defensive efficiency ranking improved. LSU to 14 while Tx AM down to 15. I will take that also.

Better quit using them all up early... you ronly get 19! Well that is what we got out of him all last year.

We have 8 already this year in two SEC games with the same guys... Go figure.

Memo to OP: doesnt do a team a bit of good if you get a sack then allow 25 yd run or 35 yd pass. Sacks look nice and gaudy and OP must be attracted to shiny things?
