I'm over Kiffin. I just want a badass coach. Kiffin ain't badass. He's just hype at this point. The yoga and self help books are weak sauce.

Nah, HoopShizz confirmed Lane is coming to Gainesville. There is no more reliable source on the planet than random Twitter user HoopShizz.

If that is the case Florida can change their stance fairly quickly,

He's from Jackson, MS.

People in Starkville don't claim him

I think Stricklin made the right decision, I wouldn't of given Lane Kiffin full control either, what has he done to earn that right? He just got his first win over a top 25 team on the road this year and you are ready to give him the keys to your entire program?? Between Florida and LSU world hunger could of been solved with all of the money you both have given to coaches to not coach for you.. Lane needed full control to go to Florida bc he has watched the musical chairs you have played with coaches, changing coaches like you change underwear since Urban left..

The problem has been the hiring not the firing.
Outside of Mullen, the coaches these UF ADs (Foley and Stricklin) have hired have been baffling.

There should be a clause in a contract that if the head coach actually goes into negotiations with another school, the school should be able to invoke the "for cause" part of the contract and be responsible for zero of the buyout. Hit the road jack!

Assistant coaches do it all the time, as do head coaches of smaller programs. And sometimes head coaches of big programs, though not as often. It's part of the business, it's part of the culture of coaching.

If you give Kiffin the total control, you are going to be fuked badly. Just look at every stop he has been.

They’ve got USC, Bama, Vol and OM fans all in agreement on something and still don’t want to hear it.

It’s like the 50YO guy with with a gut begging the 35YO woman with fake boobs and with four divorces under her belt to marry him while making fun of a guy who wanted her to sign a prenup.

Its hilarious.
