Does anyone know for sure what he did? I assumed it was marijuana. Anyone have some good info?

It was some for of PED's that I know for a fact. What I don't know is what it was. My guess being that there is some form of an appeal is that is was some OTC supplement and not a real cycle of roids.

It was Melvin Oliver in '01 or '02.

Eta: Care to take a stab where he's from since Robby Green just couldn't wait to get out of Louisiana?

Opelika, AL, home of the Auburn tigers.

According to CBS...

quote:

2004: Was arrested and charged with simple battery after hitting his then-girlfriend on June 19, and an order of protection was placed against him.

So LSU played Auburn in June, 2004?

The only way Saban is going to get rid of/suspend one of his players is if a better player comes along. Everyone knows this is how he works. He is not a disciplinarian in that sense of the word. Now if there was a better player that could readily step in and fill Green's spot, then Green would be out the door. He is still there which tells me Saban needs him on the field, nothing more.

On the other theme, I am from Louisiana and lived there for nearly 20 years. I also lived in Alabama for one year. Both states are by and large shitholes. None of you have anything to brag about, state-wise. Alabama and Louisiana residents can, however, claim to be better than Mississippi but thats about it.

So, did I miss the news story that detailed what Robby Green did?

Certainly, I must have since some of you seem to know what he did and that Saban is letting him off without punishment.

Can one of you that know link me to the story?

Nope. It was two different incidents. The one in June had charges that followed. That's what made it so ridiculous. He got her again while the order was still in place but she wouldn't press charges. Somehow it just went away and he played the next week.

You're right.... he's only thrown off 3 or 4 players since he got here. Including Jimmy Johns, who we all thought would contribute in a positive way.

Shut up you fricking dumbass, inbred, coonass, fricktards.

If Saban didn't need him he'd be gone. The charges must not be too bad.

BTW, nice rant loser.

Alabama really is a pretty damn nice state as long as you don't go to far south. Mobile is a shithole. Huntsville is awesome

He played for the most part, started some (verify this bama posters) and that's why he will be back with those holes you mention in the secondary. I smell fade routs all day....To be continued.
