It looks like a lot of SEC schools have good recruiting classes coming in next year.

Trent Johnson, our former coach, fricked us with recruiting. Thank god TCU hired him

LSU should be 14 IMO. Very apathetic fan base.

Definitely. Basketball is a solid #2 in my list, followed by:

3a. Softball
3b. gymnastics

17. baseball

Alabama/MSU both are bandwagon fanbases for basketball -- but when either of us is good, we take a backseat to no one other than UK. Actually a pretty heated basketball rivalry between the two of us at times...

MSU is just in a lull right now -- first really down season in awhile, coming off 6 or 7 seasons where we were supposed to compete at high levels and underachieved, with lack of effort, players fighting in stands, etc... Basically just had the life sucked out of the program.

There was not man better places to watch a basketball game than Humphrey Coliseum during my career in Starkville(02-06)...

it should be noted that there are more basketball fans for UK in the upper level of Rupp Arena (is there an upper level?) than basketball fans in all other schools combined.

This sucks, but there is truth to this. All teams have their fair weather fans. Bama would sell out Coleman with 15k+ routinely when they were winning. UT could do the same with T-B. but when you lose, it's no fun to go to games.

if some team, kudos to Florida, could sustain a winning tradition long enough, it would be a good equalizer to the UK disproportion.

Everytime I see OM talk about Basketball, they bring up the Memphis Grizzlies. I thought that was enough to keep them out of the cellar.

Dude we are going to make a push for the west this year and tomorrow I'm going to enjoy tBird's tears when the Spurs lose

UF doesnt care that much. The only care they have is just cuz they are good. UF are huge bandwagoners. Id put them closer to or in double digits. Id put Vandy, Tenn, LSU, MSU in front of them for sure

Are you serious?

We don't have great support relative to the amount of success we've had lately, but putting us below LSU, where basketball is a distant #3 behind baseball? That's hilarious.
