With crap conference you can always say next year.
It’s great for 13 games then playoffs ruin it.

I dunno about mad but I'd definitely be getting frustrated. They did get better this year defensively, so I'd have some hope that there was another step next year.

But if the defense doesn't get better again next year I might wonder if it ever will.

It's better than getting a Gopher beat down in a shite bowl.

Jeez, they gave up 49 in the first half. How bad were they last year?

LOL - they were missing quite a few guys. They still would have gotten shredded, but maybe a tad less.

Can’t be that mad. It sucks and has to hurt but they could be their main rival and bragging about winning an Alamo Bowl

Not to mention they still have Lincoln Riley and an improving defense

Or the B12 offenses took a step back. After all, Les Miles joined the conference.

This is the only answer.

They've lost so many big stage games; I'd rather my team not be there than get embarrassed all the time like they do

That game demonstrated that Oklahoma is years away from being able to legitimately compete for a national championship.

The next Chip Kelley. In five years he'll be scrapping for 6 wins at ucla.

Watched quite a few Big 12 games and this was very apparent. Half the teams were either operating with their backup QB or switching between two average QBs because they couldn’t decide which one was less likely to frick things up

We are embarrassed. Some do question this year if losing another game and winning a bowl might of been better.... but we could of lost a 3rd game with the suspensions and injuries as well. So for me winning a conference title regardless of conference is still a accomplishment. Other than the sec all the conferences were down. Yes this was by far the Big 12 worse bowl showing but it’s really not as bad as some are portraying it. OSU and KSU lost by 3 points. One was to a sec team..... who didn’t have a starting qb and all American wr. The big 12 also plays a lot of sec teams more than any conference usually. Even the big ten finished with a losing bowl record I believe. Against OSU we would of put up a better fight imo. LSU just dialed it up where we were weak at with injuries. We literally had no other scholorship players to put in and we didn’t have the depth that LSU does on defense. With that said we are better than we showed on defense and it will show next season and we should be elite in two years. We have recruited well on defense. They are just freshman though. Burrow won’t be there next season and as you know a good qb makes a difference. It was obvious Riley gave the up on Hurts passing mid season when we had to play the toughest ganes. He lost faith and it was displayed again in the playoffs. Hurts was horrible passing. Passing game sets up the run... without it game over. Oklahoma isn’t going away anytime soon. Just like Bama Clemson Ohio State are not either. LSU is getting super close to being up their at the top just need the right qb next season and it’s probably going to continue. This year was the worst game ever for OU and it’s fans. A lot went into that happening but it’s still bad . OU is almost 20 years since we won a national title game even though we have been close several times mainly in 2008 and 2003. 2003 game vs LSU we just needed to run at the end and I think we take that game imo. Regardless you have to win when it a counts and we atleast know that crappy secondary isn’t going to work. Long story I know piss off.
