He is one drink away from having a data rape accusation against him and the total destruction of any program he happens to be coaching for.

Whoever gets him, you better keep coke and whores on standby with airtight NDA's, then ride him for as long and fast as you can because it is going to go down in flames. No way around it.

State fans on here were pimping the Moorhead hire like the second coming of Saban. I assume you will eat crow on this terrible take if Kiffin ends up in Fayetteville or Oxford.

Why did he only win 5 games last year in the weak CUSA?

He's never sustained success anywhere.

He's just an average HC at P5 powerhouses.
He's inconsistent in CUSA with top conference talent likes he's always been.

He would and will fail at either Ole Miss or Arkansas where he will have bottom of the conference talent.

You are hanging on to hope. That is all you have right now. Because as the results have stated, the worst coach in the SEC defeated Arkansas and Ole Miss

And has had more success than Kiffin did as an SEC Head Coach

How many games has he won as an underdog? How has he fared against good competition?

I guess that's why Tennessee was so upset when he left, realistically he gave Tennessee the best football team and more hope since the collapse of Fulmer's teams

Tennessee fans hated Spurrier always taking jabs at Fulmer and Fulmer never responding. Kiffin went after not only Spurrier, but also Urban and the young online vols were hooked like it was crack. They silenced any fans who spoke out about his methods and ended up paying the price for it for years to come. The way he left the program and tried to take many of the signed recruits with him to USC was pretty underhanded, and it made me think badly of Orgeron as well.

I have changed my tune on CEO, but the jury is still out on Kiffin, imo. I'm not saying he hasn't changed, but with the Freeze regime still fresh in the minds of Ole Miss folks, and the Petrino debacle not being that long ago, it is surprising that these two schools in particular are going down this path.

Nailed it.

That's why Tardford Mississippi and Tardville Arkansas want him.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Arkansas is in severe desperation, I think Kiffin would bring excitement and energy back to the fan base and he'd build the program to a respectable level again.

The contrary point to this is that a man who has failed at one endeavor might have learned something in the intervening time. Coach O. is the prime example. He is a much better head coach now than he was at Ole Miss. He learned what he did wrong and improved himself. Kiffin could do the same. He did a good job as Offensive coordinator at Bama and seems to be doing a good job coaching FAU. Does that mean he will have better success going forward as a head coach than he had in the past? Nobody knows--certainly I don't know.

Why is he playing for his second conference championship in three years tomorrow?

Why did he start putting 25,000 more asses in the seats?

After they went 3-9 for three years in a row, probably all ten of them in 2017.

You don't think an opponent in a conference championship game is "good competition"?

In his own words Kiffin is a "flat out liar" and a "disgrace to our organization" He was even fired with cause because of this. At Tennessee Kiffin accused Urban Meyer of violating recruiting rules by calling Richardson and committed a NCAA Violation himself for saying his name. Tennessee hiring this man is why Tennessee Football is where it is today. They STILL have not recovered from his leaving during peak recruiting season. In 2012 he took the preseason #1 team in the country to a 6-6 record. In 2013 he was fired before he even got on the airplane following his loss at Arizona State, and Ed Orgeron showed how much superior of a coach he was by finishing the season 6-2.

Thanks for the Lane Kiffin bio, no one knew these things until today

You keep posting this.

The FAU Student Association agreed to a $2 Activity fee in exchange for 10,000 student tickets, located behind the visitors bench. THAT was the major factor in rising attendance.

FAU has averaged 14-17K /game since the stadium opened in 2011, and stadium capacity is less than 30K. Lane did a fine job raisingexcitement in the program, but he didn't put 25,000 extra butts in seats

No matter who OM and Ark hire they’ll be better than Moorhead.

Moorhead is 4-0 against Arkansas and OM, so that's already not true.

Yes, but the last time both schools had success was during the Freeze/Petrino era. Evidently both schools need a complete scoundrel!

Just be grateful we aren't trying to hire Art Briles with Barry Switzer as our new AD.
