We’ve won 15 games in a row and this is the kind of shite that keeps you up at night? You sound like a fricking aggy…

I really wish he was an aggy fan. Hell I wish he was a fan of any other school than Texas.

Didn’t think Schloss would give us olds the bird. I was proud when were the clean faced team vs. all the neck haired scruffies. Yes, this troubles me. It was good enough for Gus, Augie and Pierce.
Good guys no more.
1972 Sports Illustrated magazine with Catfish Hunter on the cover, sporting a mustache. Yes, this is major league ball (53 years ago), but w/ college athletes paid now, what's the difference? And why care if college baseball players have facial hair?
IMO our guys can have 3 foot beards and those gauge holes in their earlobes as long as they beat aggy and get us back to the CWS again...

I'm new here. But him and that GAT guy give off fake Texas fan vibes they gotta be from another fanebase hiding behind Texas logo. I grew up in the H. I know BS when I see it.
100%, obviously not actual Texas fans, there are many more, at some point the Texas alts are going to outnumber the actual number of Texas fans that post on this site (we may be there already)

I didn't know y'all had that tradition. I like that. This is just another small thing that when added up to everything else has taken authority from adults and given it to children who don't know what they are doing. People wonder why we have such a mental health problem, it is because we are not teaching our kids right from wrong and discipline and all the things that make them mentally tough.
Don't teach them respect for themselves and others, just give them a pill and let them tattoo and pierce themselves until they are unrecognizable.
Now get the frick off my lawn bitches!

And I wish you were an actual graduate of Texas. It would take your posts up about 10 notches.
But we can't always get what we want. Us olds can yell at the clouds when we feel like it, and you sexless youngs can live in cyberspace in lieu of reality.

Obviously, it stopped with CDC, whom is a great AD - but I would think Schloss had to get CDC's nod to ditch the clean-cut tradition. I guess it couldn't last forever. Making it to 2025 was pretty good actually.

Hell just read most of the response posters above. I wasn't provoking them. Honor is gone. Respect is gone. Decency is gone.
We are damn near wild dogs just roaming a pasture, having rampant sex, lying, cheating, and cursing anyone who speaks against it.
Why should I act surprised? My whole life I've been aware of a Book that told me these things were coming.

That A's group was the All Time Mustache Team.
Blame the Yankees, they changed their facial hair policy this year.
Kids out here ruining everything*
*Don't really care just helping a fellow old cloud yeller

There were 3 pitchers back then for the Oakland A's who all had "longer" hair and mustaches. One of the other guys was named Rollie Fingers. He had a curly Q stache. Believe it or not, these guys were considered outlaws at the time, they dared to rebel against the pristine culture of baseball.
If it wasn't odd back then, I wouldn't remember all this with such detail. It made news. And I would've been 8 years old then - and I still remember this?
That's another thing about my generation. We were avid sports fans from the day we were old enough to understand how a ball works. Thank God there were no cell phones and shite, I would have no memories.

So much for the Texas Baseball tradition of clean cut, and no facial hair.
I can't believe this was a thing. So stupid.

There's like a 70% chance you are MtVernon, the odds of having two people this gay posting on the same site are low.

Because there is none. Real men have facial hair.
