Nothing new to see an SEC coach be over paid... look at your own coach moron.... $7.5m to go 7-5 in reg season... bump him up to $11.0m he might go 11-0, ya never know.

Regardless of the comparison to O. MSST paid what it took to get their guy (within reason), so I cant argue with it.

Paying so much to still suck isn't exactly a good thing.

Remind me. Who won when the Aggies came to Oxford? You don't know shite about football. Otherwise you would understand that Jimbo is still coaching Sumlin recruits.

Jimbo's recruits were the bright spots.

And if he keeps it where it is now for the next 10 years, he will be happy, and so will be many others.

Part of O’s salary package is spread to the coordinators, and he is happy to do it.

And O has incentives he can and did reach... something Leach NEVER WILL.

You really want us to go back to the day O was hired and pull those predictions from T-rant?

As I recall, when LSU wins the NCG, he gets an additional bonus of $1M, on top of the other bonuses he's earned. When he's chosen as the National & SEC Coach of the Year, his peers obviously feel he's doing a lot more than just standing on the side line.

lets remember, Leach is a little older than O. O will probably make as much or more by the time he's Leach's age.

You mean an award that always goes to the HC for the most improved team regardless of his role?
