If Coach O wins the natty on Monday I would be shocked if he doesn't get the mother of all pay raises.

I’d guess Orgeron gets a raise this offseason. I mean honestly what had Orgeron done before this year that warranted more than his salary?

Why would he if he wants to keep all the coordinators and Joe Brady? They will get the raise more likely than coach O getting one.

After a successful season or two in ‘20 & ‘21, I’m hoping we pay him more.

I'm sure he's getting a significant bump regardless.

Im pretty sure O has surpassed expectations and will get a big raise shortly. Plus you gotta remember the whole situation when he was hired.

Already $750k in bonuses from the season

He will get a better contract for sure. I couldn’t find what the bonus was for winning the NC but already he’s had a great Bank year

Paying so much to still suck isn't exactly a good thing.

It's because Leach calls the plays and O learns what the play was going to be right after it happens.

Part of O’s salary package is spread to the coordinators, and he is happy to do it.

Except he doesn’t suck.

And I doubt there are many Ags who have a problem with him earning more, should his trajectory continue to be better than originally predicted.

Well. Yeah. He doesn't call plays on either side of the ball as a figure head so his livelihood is tied to their production.
