So LSU was fine with Kelly's adultery and alcoholism as long as he was winning? Why are these allegations just now coming to light?

The Neanderthal caught lightning in a bottle with Burrow ....
not to be repeated. However , credit to Orgeron for recognizing
Burrow's talent , recruiting & resurrecting his career.

This is pretty standard in all workplaces.
What we are seeing play out at LSU is not common in any workplace.

Only one of the people in that picture famously lost his pants in Lake Martin. It was not Bear Bryant. I have gotten drunk before, really drunk. But I have never gotten I lost my pants in the lake drunk.

can you tell me a team in the sec that wouldn't be and ever fired a coach that was winning big?

Pick and choose, the dalton way.
If you're winning, things get looked over. You dont have to like it, it is what it is.

It’s impossible to fire him with cause because of the language of the contract. He must be given notice of the reason cause is why he’s being fired within a certain time frame of being notified that he’s being terminated. That time lapsed before they even hinted at it.
Now they’re trying to say that he wasn’t really fired because Woodward didn’t have the authority to fire him.
Good luck with that argument!
Where is the hand raise guy in the room for all of this? HMM yea sir... Lets look at this again

Arky fired their best coach in the last quarter century for just a part of that.

Unless the adultery opened the University to some sort of liability (staff member, student, some sort of position of power imbalance, etc) or it is a religious univeristy, none would care.
Honestly the same for the alcohol. There would need to be documented evidence of drinking at work or how their drinking directly affected the team. Sark was counseled prior to his firing at USCw and fired when he continued. That would likely be known or have come to light outside of message board rumors and "insiders" if it were true.

BK will shut LSU down if they don't stop it and pay the man. Now they are assassinating his character.

We are talking about the same LSU that just hired Verge Ausberry as their new AD, the same guy they suspended in 2021 for improperly handling complaints of sexual and physical abuse.. He was more worried about protecting the WR that punched his girlfriend in the eye rather than do the right thing.. Sounds like he will fit in perfect as the new AD, rules don't apply to you as long as you are good at football.. Most people get fired for this, but at LSU you get a promotion and raise years later lol
