So LSU copied the nickname ( Death Valley)after playing a game at Clemson in which Clemson smashed them. I don't know what year it was but way before I waa born. Guess they (LSU) were so impressed with the stadium and intimidating atmosphere they brought the name back home with them and even started wearing away jerseys to make it official.

My buddy told me he read this on Wikipedia so seems legit

I think the original spelling was WHOGIVESASHIT.

This is true. Not much originality with LSU...other than their corn dog tradition. Tigers? Come on now.

It was actually called " deaf valley" but Cajuns can't speak English so boom " death valley" it became.

Clempson can't say to much as they stole everything from auburn.

It's really the Fightin' Tigers named after a group fighting in the civil war. And we have unique colors. Not many teams with our colors out there.

Basically look like the Packers uniforms but with purple instead of green. Georgia stole their logo but LSU jacked their uniform pattern.

The drag queen colors are unique, though. I'll give you that.

Sure. That’s why you are here instead of on the ever-novel TideFans.

A South Carolina fan defending Clemson over anything is the strangest thing I have seen in quite some time. Surely the OP knows that no matter what the hell they call their stadium or that stupid rock they rub for no apparent reason Clemson sucks and always will.

That's like a law of nature or something

I don't know what's up with the OP but we all know where the real Death Valley is.

What's the truth? My buddy said it was on Wikipedia and my buddy is not a liar. Why else did they start wearing away jerseys at home

It's the same timeless debate with two sides of the story and no real answer. Just like the classic debate of who fricked their cousins first, Bama or Arkansas?

I admit, people from Arkansas and Alabama do like to come down to Louisiana and make use of the cheap prostitutes, we've probably fricked a few of your cousins.

Yea, this seems right since LSU played their first game in 1893 and the Packers kicked off their first season in 1959.
