Life is not a fantasy so I feel really confident saying that my confidence has ZERO bearing on the game.

Thank you for playing though

Lsu dominated that game after midway q2. Go look at the stats. Tamu got a gift on prevent d which cost lsu the game last night

It's an interesting matchup because Manziel executes for Kingsbury & Sumlin well. They attacked the edges with the pass to set up some run game looks up the gut. We stopped that, played contain on the edge and we bottled them up after two opening drives that went for points.

I honestly think that Bama's Secondary got exposed last night. They are poor tacklers judging from LSU's YAC numbers.

Sumlin and Kingsbury with a manziel at the controls isn't a combo to be trifled with. I also think Bama needs to guard against a let down after a huge emotional win in Death Valley.

Should be a good game to watch.

But one ball that hits the WR in the chest and bounces 10 ft in the air to be fair caught by the LSU DB

It was a LB, not a DB

As if BDS is even intimidating. By my count Nick Saban has 5 losses in 5 seasons. He's averaged one loss per year in gump paradise. Seems pretty Saban-esque to lose Saturday.

More like 5 losses in 5 and a half seasons. Three of those losses came in his first season. The other two came against 2010 Auburn and 2011 LSU, both of which, like Alabama this weekend, would beat the everliving shite out of aTm.

Ofcourse he's going to put up 300 yards when you throw it nearly 60 times on top of running as much as he does. But when you throw it 60 times against good defenses you're going to turn the ball over multiple times.

So TAMU fans believe that Saban isn't going to make adjustments from last night? What about your suspect defense? Didn't you struggle to beat Ole Miss? Didn't La Tech give you all you can handle? Didn't Florida beat you at home with their craptacular qb?

I think the implication was that "craptacular" Mett torched 'Bama and that Manziel is better than Mett, thus he will also torch 'Bama.

But I guess 2+2=5 in your mind.

Okay since you have trouble understanding sentence context i will help you. I said "when", which means at that point in time. Mett played up to the expectations that you all have had for him from day one last night. I hated that we were his coming out party but oh well. So let me write this so that you may understand, HE WAS NOT CRAPTACULAR LAST NIGHT, BUT HE WAS AGAINST TAMU. Will he go back to being craptacular? Who knows?

I saw one of the earlier posts mention having already corralled the "most scrambling" QB or something like that, which I assume was referring to Denard Robinson, and so JFF would be no problem.

The thing that seems to get overlooked about Johnny and our offense in general is that none of it would be possible without our offensive line. Michigan doesn't have the talent or experience of our offensive line, so the plays Johnny extends have often already been going on for 4-5 seconds of him standing in the pocket. It breaks down the coverage that much more and it's where he gets all of his long, weaving runs.

I'm not saying it's going to happen a ton or that Manziel will run for more than 40 or 50 yards at all; just know that Bama has not faced an offensive line as good as A&M's. Bama's is basically the only other that compares. There will probably be 9-10 NFL players to come from the starters of both teams.

The problem with teams like TAMU is that you are identified by one player. Take that away and you have nothing. Alabama is a complete team, with a defense to along with it. Don't take last night as a constant. Miles had two weeks to prepare and has been for longer than that. They picked up our blitz very well last night, but don't expect us to blitz very much against JFF this weekend.

LSU beats TAMU when Mett was craptacular, but JFF is going to waltz into BDS and torch us?

Dunno.

Only things I can come up with are:

- Post big game let down for Bama
- Consecutive games for Bama - Tired
- LSU passing attack showed some Bama weakness. Secondary is not near as good a last year.

Don't think it matters. Bama wins.

But with using your gump logic, the blue print has been established. Mett, who even at his best is no where near Johnny's worst, torched you.

all I heard prior to the start of the season was that this was going to be a rebuilding year for Bama and at this point in the season we are ahead of where we were last year. I think the coaches have the team focused and that was rewarded by "the Drive" last night. I seriously doubt anything will be taken for granted vs. Tamu. I replied to you but am making a general comment for the TAMU homers/male cheerleaders

so the game plan will be the exact same thing when Bama plays TAMU and AJ will over thrown a wide open receiver just like he did last night..I see where you are coming from

The Aggies are quickly replacing Arkansas as the most delusional and annoying fan base in the west.

Bama is my most hated team, but at least y'all back it up with championships and quality football. aTm, much like Arkansas, has accomplished nothing, but they sure do like to talk. I hope Saban keeps the starters in the entire game and doesn't allow the garbage time td we did.

I do love the aTm enthusiasm. As is posted frequently: Johnny Manziel is on pace to break Cam's records (except W's) and as one poster stated "aTm has two receivers that are better than anything Arkansas has ever put on the field".

Should be a good game.

People keep saying that, but its really not that true. We have an elite OL, excellent RBs, and above average WRs. Johnny was not even expected to be the starter going into fall practice. Jamiell Showers was, and I believe we would be successful with him too. He is just a different style of player.
