And Michael Jordan even said himself "Republicans buy sneakers too"
It was a joke. I thought the last part made it clear. I don’t care if Mullen wears Jordan’s. It’s cheesy, but not a big deal.
And Yeezy himself said
“Drug dealer buy Jordans, crackhead buy crack
And a white man get paid off of all of that.”

And now he’s a potential Heisman winner and contending for a national title (again). UGA fans calling him the n word may have been a blessing in disguise

How is he contending for a title if he’s never played for one?

Smart got the racist baseball player booted
But, he picked the much less talented white qb over a more talented black qb.
Plus he wore a C.S.A. hat.
And he has a bad haircut.
He wore a CSA hat. So what? The North had slaves DURING the war. Lincoln did not free the Northern slaves with the EP. The North had more soldiers involved in the genocide of Native Americans than the South did. The USA has killed far more innocent people than the CSA ever did. The NORTH had children working in factories before, during and after the war.
So just move on with your silly ignorance of history and your self hatred.

Trying to whitewash 350 to 400 years of slavery by pointing to others bad actions
GTFOH
After edit:
I have been convinced that Kurby shouldn't be held accountable for a youthful indiscretion, so we'll give the Kirbster a pass on being a young douchebag with a crappy bowl cut wearing confederate symbols
No such reconsideration for that Muschamp azzhole, boom MF to all you turds that support that guy
I think Muschamp was a KA in college, that frat that worships r e lee, hell IMO all players should boycott his azz also

Wait, a teenager was ignorant and insensitive? What! No way! Go home bee boy, you’re on the wrong board.

Fields already showed what he is about. He wins the Heisman most years with last season's performance.
But he couldn't help his team win a playoff game. The other Georgia QB did.

This is the South! Unfortunately, we still have a ways to go in order to reach nirvana! But, the actions of a few should never undo the gains of the majority! When we stand up for injustices anywhere, we invoke justice everywhere!
God Bless!

switch quitter with a word that rhymes with it, and you'd probably be right.

Kirby was in locker rooms playing Sports at a high level around people from different backgrounds from HS all the way thru College, wearing a Confederate hat with no concern for how the confederacy might have negatively impacted his teammates ancestors is insensitive
god i hate to enter this fray because this is such a serious topic and too many clowns stoking shite here.
but honestly you're judging 1995 Kirby by 2020 standards. It would have taken one hell of a woke dude in 1995 to make a connection between a 'southern' hat and potential discomfort of his team mates.
1995 the notion of removing confederate symbols is DOA. 2020 R.E. Lee no longer presides over Lee circle. (and it's no big deal)
How about let's just assume 19 y/o Kirby couldn't or wouldn't connect the dots between a hat and the feelings of his black teamates. And now he's a man in a position of influence using his influence to support BLM. I'd say that's a pretty impressive transformation.
I'm a 52 y/o and my job entails a lot of responsibility that affects other people's lives. If I was currently judged by the actions of my dipshit 19 y/o self people probably wouldn't let me into their hospital rooms.
I have a sneaking suspicion that any honest person on this board could probably relate something similar. so hate on Kirby for being a dumbass coach, for wasting all that talent, for digging an offense out of the graveyard, for being a coachspeak nightmare, for having a tard haircut. But be honest and cut him a break for a hat he wore 25 years ago.

Outstanding post
You have changed my mind on Smart's actions in this incident
I'll go back and edit my post, that being said, Kirby cost you guys a CFP Title by going with the noodle-armed Game Mgr over Fields, a coach has to know which QB has the "higher ceiling" and to balance that higher ceiling vs. being comfortable right now
See Andy Reid, getting rid of a 10-11 win Alex Smith, rather than adding more pieces to try and win with the lower ceiling QB
