At the end of the day none of us know exactly what has happened or what will happen. If it is in any way related to a PE deal they will have to dot a lot of I’s and cross a lot of T’s. But there is too much smoke for anyone to claim nothing is on fire.

Has the governor of any other state invited the top donors of a SEC school to the statehouse to hold private meetings to discuss how to finance athletic operations of a public university?

You've been pretending that you know everything about this, all throughout this thread.

As have you. At least I admit I only have the news reports to go off of. You have been inferring you have some inside source. Which we know is a lie.

How long ago was it that you were claiming to be a sports journalist?

Tiger Rag Link explains it better
Looks like LSU's biggest donors are giving LSU a loan to cover the excessive expenditures they've racked up in football.

Makes one wonder if Auburn will run out of money. While LSU paid +$50mm for Kelly's buyout + his staff + acquiring Kiffin & Co. Auburn paid buyouts for Malzhan & staff, Harsin & staff, Freeze & staff + built a brand new football facility AND they took the same hit with the $20.5mm/yr revenue sharing as every other program. Auburn has paid out the arse for football.

Looks like LSU is surpassing the aggy in pissing away money, that's what it looks like!
