Aggie has been begging us since they joined

They will never win a game against lsu so i guess its a one sided rivalry

It's funny b/c in real life, Aggies and LSU are friendly. Houston is full of both and they play nice.

It's a match made though. Most heated rivalries come from in-state or close proximity to one another where fans of each team regularly run into each other.

I imagine LSU fans interact with A&M fans more often than any other fanbase on a regular basis, mostly due to close proximity and both having a good portion of fans working in oil and gas.

I guess going off your narrative A&M hasn’t had anyone to shite talk to since the 1920’s

It's the rivalry that neither will admit to.

If you don't like us, don't talk about us... but never forget that this is an LSU board.

Yeah because a 20 year streak of A&M kicking your arse never happened.

Arky was only a rival because they managed to frick up LSU's western division hopes a couple times under Nutt back when they played in Little Rock. Hell Nutts last win at Arkansas was against LSU's national championship team in 07

Not sure about the “important” part of your characterization, but LSU is definitely a rival.
Has been for years.

Side note (sorta): Since the day we joined the SEC, I’ve wondered about the focus that so many in this conference place on naming specific rivalries.
There has to be a reason behind it, I just haven’t figured it out yet.
Maybe it has something to do with the trophies, game names (e.g., TSIO, World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party)?
