What? OH Stink barely beat a sh*tty tejas team? Indiana would boat race the shorthorns let's be honest.

The fact is if you switched Indiana and tOSU's uniforms Indiana would without a doubt be ranked #1.

Alabama was so terrifying for so long because they played like Indiana but with way more talent.

You can never discount talent. But, one has to wonder if commitment > total talent composite.

With the $$ these kids are getting and future NFL prospects of high end talent + lack of 3-4 year development as a team in the same program, Uber talented teams may not have the commitment to sacrifice and play as a TEAM to be dominant.

One has to wonder if a recruiting strategy that focuses on lesser talent/diamonds in the rough mixed with a select few high end players from the portal is a better strategy these days vs buying loads of talent that compete negatively against each other with ego before transferring.

Exactly. Rankings now are just clickbait. Let's see what rankings look like at Thanksgiving.

When they play Ohio State in the Big10 CC game, we will see.

Why would ND hate Indiana when they’ve been so bad?

Blind faith in their team I guess. Typical homer fan crap.

Because no one in the sec has plummeted from where they were ranked in the first month of the season.

There's no reason to get worked up over these rankings, especially so early in the season. This isnt 2010 where we were all fighting for just 2 spots, every team with a pulse will be in the playoff field.

We haven’t lost to them since 1988. Methinks this is about to change.

Great for them. They have the most losses in FBS history, out of every school that has ever played.

best win was against a 3 loss PSU team and they needed overtime. perhaps they were over ranked as well....

no saying Indiana isnt good, but many teams have been way over ranked this year based on perceived strength

Who is undefeated with a better win than Indiana? Oregon had never lost a big10 conference game.

They've been in the conference for less than 15 games of conference play. Cool stat though

Not worked up. Just pointing out the Big 10 is on the same level as the ACC this year.

I was always surprised how little head to head history there was between IU and ND in most every sport given their proximity to each other. The football series died in the 1950s.

The basketball head to head is not surprisingly incredibly lopsided in favor of the Hoosiers but they stopped playing each other consistently starting in 2002.

Ohio State's defense has allowed 2 TD all season so far and are averaging 5 points a game. They are easily the best unit in all of CFB.

Maybe learn football

Illinois should have busted that wide open. They had multiple attempts inside the 5 yard line and even a 3 and 1 on the goal line but had dumb penalties.

I don't think they would have won because OSU played pretty well all game long but they should have had 30 points in the game rather than 19.

Propping up teams only helps you if you actually beat them.

The best offense they've played is who? Illinois?

Before you say Illinois was ranked let me remind you so was Penn St.

Tejas sucks and Ohio St. barely beat them. We 'thought' it was a defensive battle but........turns out..........

Indiana looks like Ohio State. Big and physical inside with good skill players.

They completely manhandled Oregon on the road in Eugene. That game and Penn State were supposed to be their road losses.

There's probably greater than a 90% chance both Ohio state and Indiana both get into the playoffs and less than 10% chance Missouri gets in so I'm not sure why any of this concerns you either way.
