I think Les's plan will be to sneak in the Georgia Southern offense disguised as LSU. We can use our great RB's as guest runners.

Flawless!!! FTR I think you are right Alabama did move the ball better but did not do it well nor did we. I expect there to be a higher score in the next time around with both teams completing a few drives. It's going to be a nail biter tho I'm sure.

yeah, I wanna talk to the LSU fans who are reasonable...and don't think they're going to put 35 on us this time all of a sudden..I think the score will be in the range of 17-21ish..I know we have a really super buff kicker who is super super awesome at field goaling, but I think we need some TD'S THIS GAME.

There is no maybe about it. You lost on risk plays and forcing your kicker into long field goals that were well out of his range.

outplayed hardly

Stats don't tell the story. When you got in scoring position we tightened our Defense and drove you backwards each time. You had two more first downs, and 4 less punts. LSU played conservative throughout the game, and never tried to force anything. Had you scored a TD we would have been more aggressive before the half and in the forth Quarter.

You have the better Fantasy Football Defense. THat's about it.

I agree with that score prediction. I think both teams will play much better offensively but it should still be a great defensive game. I'm nervous about the game and I also think the game could easily be decided by a late touchdown drive. Fingers crossed for a TD this go around

LSUs best chance to win is the zone read and JJ. Miles doesn't have time to make a major offensive change - the team needs reps on the zone read and the passing game. Neither team will make major offensive philosophy changes but they will make major playcalling changes. Alabama will read the D and audible consistantly - LSU won't. That'll be the difference in the game.

Alabama will prepare hard for the option. That's when Jefferswag throws the whole defense off guard when they run the option pass. He throws the ball to a wide open Rueben Randle, and he walks it into the endzone. You heard it here, folks.

I've seen that...but in my version JJ's first throw is a pick six.

I see where you're coming from, but Bama's D is better. We actually have linebackers, LSU's LBs are very good, but they aren't as good as the rest of the Tiger Defense. NFL Scouts say everyone on Bama's D will play in the league, they say LSU's D-Line and DBs (I've heard Simon and Taylor have a way to go though, mostly Simon.) will play in the league.

I don't want to argue and enter a flame war with LSU fans, hell before this year when some of the Tiger Fans went on an ignorance rampage I pulled for LSU in every game they played except the Saban Bowl. Most agree that all we learned from Nov. 5th is LSU has a better ST unit than Bama. Other than that no one knows for sure which team is better. LSU scored more points because we decided to pass instead of run into FG range and play defense, Nick should've known LSU wouldn't get a TD. It would've kept going until one D knocked the other out of FG range, and thanks to the passes being called we screwed ourselves. It's gonna be close again. 13-9 is my prediction in favor of Bama, but we could see something like 15-14.

i was going to stay out of the thread until this comment

simon would be a starter in y'alls backfield. he may have terrible hands but his coverage skills are pretty damn good. and i bet after they are both drafted simon will be picked around the same spot as kirkpatrick if not higher. and taylor will probably be a 3rd rounder.

so, get that crap outta here.

I think Bama's D is bigger and stronger than LSU's, but might be slightly slower in the front 7. Plus they kind of wore down at the end last game where as LSU's really stepped up at the end and pushed Bama back in OT.

As for our offense, JJ has played very well against Bama in the past but this is the best D he will face and he will have to make some good throws for LSU to win. I would be surprised if there were more than 50 points total scored this game

It's on there. The drive to end the first half is the 1st field goal.

laugh all you want. kirkpatrick is not a good cover corner, physical, yea, but not good in coverage. how many times has he been beaten deep this year.

some of the comments y'all have made make it obvious that you guys do not pay attention to our secondary. mathieu and mo get all the recognition and rightfully so, but next year simon will fill in for mo and there will be zero drop off(you know kinda like mo made it like peterson wasn't missed). in fact, if simon's hands were better he would be around 8 picks, leading our team, he has dropped a bunch of easy ones.

go look at the simon's stats compare to your secondary only menzie has more pbu and milliner more picks then simon. simon beats all you other secondary and all the other categories including kirkpatrick.

oh and as long as cooper is at LSU, we will produce better corners in college and corners better prepared for the NFL. and history shows it.

Bottom line is it was JJ's first game after not being a starter all season.........he's got 30+ days to prepare for this game and defense......and that doesn't bode well for Bama.

We know what you guys bring offensively and defensively.........and it resulted in 6 points.

If we incorporate some roll-outs with run option........and get the ball to our RB's a lil' more on passes.......it will be golden.

Bama 13
