LSU won't be and shouldn't be higher in the pecking order than a 1-loss Big12 champ.

LSU's one loss would be to a playoff team. Assuming an OU win today, OU's loss would be to an unrated KSU team. Plus, OU will have defeated a team it already beat. Who has the better resume?
If Baylor wins look at their results. Three wins by 3 points or less. An additional win with a margin of 6 and .... an 8 point win vs Rice.... Rice is one of the shittiest programs on earth.
That said, I think the committee will leave out LSU with a loss today.

You can say it all you want but whichever team wins head to head today will be ahead of the other. But hey, it’s America, you have the right to be wrong.

I’m not saying it’s right I’m thinking like the committee.

All that bullshite about the eye test and resume will go down the shithole as the committee will say it's the most recent results.

If this happens the committee is basically admitting all their rankings leading up to Sunday were bullshite. If LSU loses (not a blow out) to get left out the committee would have to ignore the the criteria used all year.

While conference championships absolutely should have weight, playing a schedule as tough as LSU has should be just as heavily considered when compared to a team with OU's schedule.

At some point 12 games has to mean more than 1. I understand in the NFL its different but that is because more teams play each other giving a better chance for parity to sort it out during the regular season most years.

If we lose we're out imo. I also would love to see LSU beat the dawgs by 1 point and we both make it in
The nation wide melt would be

Oklahoma will go if they win today and LSU loses. One loss conference champions should go before ANY team who doesn't even win their conference...remember?

If Georgia wins, I could see the committee wanting a team east of Mississippi in playoffs. Looks like Oklahoma might play their usual part when fulfilling that west coast void.

We'll see, LSU would be best not give the committee the chance to leave them out. Win and you're in....

I think the committee wants LSU regardless. They are a pretty big draw this year. Especially with our Heisman winning QB. The storyline alone is enough.

I even with a loss to UGA, LSU would have the best resume in the country. That being said, the committee doesn't seem to really give a shite about that.

Yep. One loss conference champs trump ANY other one loss teams....just makes sense.

I mean the first two answers are directly opposite...so clearly that is the answer.

LSU SHOULD still be in. They are one of the best four teams. The committee has sucked this year though.

If UGA wins, 2 SEC teams make up the 4 playoff teams. Book it!

I am not sure why anyone sees this as anything other than a must win

We don't have the Bama Goodwill and you know when they hate putting in two from same conference

Truthfully the committee should try to determine who they believe are the best four teams in America. If I were on the committee, unless Georgia dominated LSU, I'd have to include LSU in the playoff pairings.

If we find a way to beat LSU today they had better put us in the playoffs, and LSU deserves to be there, too. I would hate to face them twice, but it is what it is.
