Are you an idiot?

Monk disagrees

Monk never said he throats slashed. He simply responded with "I need to learn from it." There is no need to correct the reporter
Anyone who played basketball knows that motion is not a throat slash

monk already admitted to the press it was a throat slash and said he needed to learn from it

I'm not excusing our guys but it was.
Was it because a reporter said, "So about the throat slash...". I'm curious as to what the full quote says.
I don't think his intent was what was perceived outside of the "it's done" deal.

No, he didn't admit to it

Lets say this is true, Monk isn't dumb. He knew what he was doing and what it looked like even "if" he wasn't doing the throat slash. I think I'm done discussing this though. Monk recognizes that he played a part in this, that is mature of him. I hope Kingsley does the same.

Eh, I think it's safe to say you can learn from being too emotional and even engaging/feeding into that. Like a player apologizing for spiking the ball and getting a tech, that kind of thing.

Y'all made a gif for that!? How pathetic

For what. This is ridiculous that gesture is no different then the 3 sign, or the bow and arrow symbol Murray made. He's a kid that was a great high school player in Arkansas and they have talked so much crap about him after he choose Kentucky. That was his little in your face back to them. Go Big Blue. Baby

No screw the sore losers of the Razorbacks. Those flagrant fouls at the ends by Arkansas show exactly what kind of classes they have. NONE. It went just they way everyone knew it would. Big Blue cutting nets and walking out with another trophy. Proud of our Cats including Monks. Hopefully we see another throats slashing in the NCAA tournament. Lol. GO BIG BLUE.

Oh shite, you mean someone made a rude gesture?
Someone needs to push a guy on the floor off of a screen or smack him in the face while he's going on for a layup.
That'll show that fricker not to make a gesture!
Y'all some clowns.

There was no classless playing. Not on Kentuckys part anyway. That throat slash was no more the an in your face celebration by a young player who choose to leave his home state and play for a real college basketball team. Arkansas player have talked so much shite because of his decision and tried to make him look bad. Those classy flagrant fouls by the Razorback thugs where very classy, pure sore arse losers. Not sure why. That game went exactly how everyone one with any common sense knew it would. With Big Blue cutting nets and bringing another trophy home to the Bluegrass. Arkansas fans trying to make a big deal out of Monks throat slash gesture to avoid talking about the poor sportsmanship of the thugs on their own team. I am just hoping for another throats slashing the next time these two teams meet. Go Big Blue. 2017 SEC CHAMPIONS, for those that don't know that 30 times we brought back that title. Now for the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP and possible another banner hanging in Rupp Arena. So suck it up buttercups. Accept the defeat. It was good officiated game, no excuses other them the best team won. How about those Kentucky Wildcats. Rock on boys. Proud of our CATS.

If you're going to quote the press conference you probably should have watched it. His exact quote was, "I made a three, emotions took over, I made a (motion) like the game was over, I knew we's about to win, I knew we's about to go on a run. I mean I just gotta learn from that."

You've made three posts, all in this thread, and all confirming my suspicions of the education level of most Kentucky fans.

This thread sorely needs some feminine hygiene products on both sides. Since when did talking trash and people getting hard fouls for talking trash become beyond the pale in college basketball? The cats won, they talked some shite at the end. The hog players didn't care for it and gave em some tough love to remember them by. End of story. Everyone get your brackets filled out and move on.

Nobody watches Arky play any sport without a gun being put to their head.

Pig players should have handled it on the next rebound. Elbow to the face. Then let him throat slash again with loose teeth.

Is that honestly what y'all are so mad over? Jesus. Get a grip. Y'all are melting hard as frick ITT over a petty hand gesture.
