we all have our share of flaky fans, but that was a bit suprising.

Alabama fans get a lot of criticism for being sidewalker and bandwagoners, but man, LSU fans are the most shallow and unsupportive fans I've ever seen.

I said it in another thread about this same topic. I've been to all but one game in person in Les' tenure as coach, and it was his first.

Last night was the second time I've left a game early...the other was 1/9.

Just a bit of perspective.

If been to every game since 2010.

Left one game early. @Alabama last year, but there was some other circumstances that forced me to. There was about 2 minutes left.

Last night, I was in the tunnels walking out of the stadium with 2 minutes left, when I heard the band playing the first down cheer. So I knew they must have fumbled and we had gotten it back somehow. We went back in and watched the rest.

But I was prepared to leave. So yeah, a bit of perspective.

Yea, I walked out with about 4 minutes left...and caught the fumble at the tailgate while picking some stuff up.

The people that left when we went down 31-10 with 25 minutes left in the game though,

it's bizarre. no team's fans eat their own like LSU fans.

those of us who stayed till the end had a great time. i was dying laughing when we came within one possession of the lead.

It really can't be summed up with one reason, but it has a lot to do with unrealistic expectations, boring offense, other SEC West teams shining in the national spotlight, and Les Miles being the complete opposite of Nick Saban.

Throw in the fact that sitting in the stadium is much less comfortable than my couch and the traffic situation after the game and you get all the reasons why I don't go to the games anymore. I tailgate and go home to watch on TV. It's much more enjoyable and you can change the channel after we try the same dive play 50 times without success.

Yeah, that's terrible.

People really don't understand how long 60 minutes is.

I wasn't talking about going to games. I love going to games still and it's a reason why I have continued going for 10 seasons now.

I was replying to the poster that talked about LSU fans eating their own. And it has to do with the things I listed.

The crowd for the MSU game was actually electric. Especially after the scoop and score to cut it to one possession. Then MSU sucked the life out of it again by scoring twice on big plays with long drives.
