re: Arkansas Parking
Posted by chackbay on 10/15/24 at 7:32 pm
Ark got there shite together with the free parking at Baum and the shuttle. Staduim is about a mile uphill. very easy to use, and after the game buses are lined up ready to go..

the biggest pull on the supply line ( i dont think its over 2") is when every baw's standby tries to kick on. thats a hell of a draw. generac's where timing out on low NG faults for Ida because there where many leaks on the system. also alot of these setup's still have the small volume regulator at the house. you should have the oversized reg for volume. mine took about 5 sec to start, usually its right away.

they recommend changing both coils out. damn things are pricey. the ones on my 25hp Koelher were about $180 for the pair, but i changed them myself. so if under warranty go that route.

Ignition coil check has to be done when loss of power happens. Pull on spark plug wire at a time

Bad ignition coil pack will do that. I fought for a year trying to figure it out. Very intermittent.

quote:are we related? i thought i was reading my exact thoughts.
Over the years I have developed an irrational, unhealthy hatred for the word Alabama and anything involved with it.
I hate the state.
I definitely hate the team and anyone involved with it.
I can’t stand anyone that’s an Alabama fan. I almost automatically judge them as an arrogant, bandwagon jumping idiot immediately upon meeting them.
I even don’t like Sweet Home Alabama anymore.
I don’t even like Alabama Barker. Not really sure who the hell she is. But I don’t like her just because her name.
re: Citrus tree ID and help pruning Satsuma

those 2 trunks are not the same. one is the grafted tree, the other is the root stock which should have been pruned long time age. those fruit are coming off the root stock.
re: What type of jelly do you use on your PB&J?

re: Permanent LED soffit lights?
Posted by chackbay on 10/16/23 at 9:41 am
leviton makes a wifi dimmer switch. works great with my led soffit lights. they dont change colors, bright white, but app has dimmer, on/off scheduele. i used the pancake type snap in led's . materials lights and wire should be under $1k for a house. weekend project at best.

Satsuma's ready??
Posted by chackbay on 9/14/23 at 9:30 am
Anybody started picking satsuma's yet? my tree is so loaded the branches are touching the ground. they are changing colors to light green, good bit are getting the white/light orange spots. it seems early, but with the weird weather this year maybe some are ready. i don't eat them so that's why im asking.
re: What was the best era of LSU tailgating in your opinion?
Posted by chackbay on 9/13/23 at 7:55 am
been setting up and tailgating for 20+ years. Tailgating died when ole Joe Aleva shut down the Nichloson corridor because people where having to walk in the road to avoid all the people on the sidewalk along the Railroad tracks. they also started charging to park on the interior of campus, with the stupid permits for trailers. i usually get to campus at 5Am , and here is the truth. Tailgating is dead. if you think anything more than that you are too young to know better. at 10am this past week, i counted about 6 tailgates in the old front nine free parking......6, what a fricking joke. Tailgating is WORK, and older groups gave up with the rule changes and 4k Tv's at home. newer groups don't have the work ethic to stick to it. shopping, organizing, setting up, cooking, tearing down. Damn you Joe Aleva.

Arkansas does the bus thing from a lot about a mile away. That worked flawless for us last year

according to the ban, outdoor cooking is ok unless the fire department has to respond. really.
