Jackson Prep is basically a mini Ole Miss. Plus yes, we did say frick the NCAA.

He’s from Jackson and goes to Jackson Prep...Derrick Nix our RB coach has been recruiting him since like the 6th grade. That all being said he’s 50/50 on going straight to the minors.
If we really would have said frick the NCAA we wouldn’t have lost Brandon Turnage from Oxford to Bama and Nakobe Dean from Horn Lake, MS to Georgia.

I'd be more concerned with the recruiting of a player during the dead period that flipped last minute. Specifically the #1 JUCO.

I didn't beat around any bush. I have no issue with him going to ole Miss, just replied to OP - since it was a last minute flip and talk about your staff contacting him during the dead period. Sucks we didn't get him, but that's recruiting. It happens.

BTW — realize what recruiting rules are. You can contact kids all you want leading up to the moment he signs (during the dead period). Just no in-person contact. And despite what some hack blog said, our staff didn’t go visit the kid during the dead period.

Is this the first year Arkansas has really been in the game with big time recruits that flip last minute?
It seems so. Y’all are just getting in the game $$$ it seems. This flipping will happen every year now that you are recruiting at higher level. Get used to it please and quit acting like children about this. You will win some flips and lose some flips. Welcome to sEC recruiting.

Says the team with "The walk of Champions" and have no champions. I realize most of you Rebs/Sharts only know what it is like to cheat. Sorry we dont play that game, and dont want to end up with sanctions and a coach like Matt Luke.

as if Ole Miss gets to teach Arkansas how to compete at any sport. Ole Miss is a poor-man's Arkansas. Arkansas is more competitive in every single sport

No recruit has ever "flipped" because of a contact during a dead period.
If a damned phone call is all it took to steal him away from Arkansas....then he never wanted to go to arkansas to begin with.
