Contracts incoming !!!!!

This was the logical next step, we all had to see it coming.
Funny as hell if you ask me. Always amusing to see humans behave as humans. Sans integrity of course.

It should have started this way.
But then again... it would have to be policed by who, the NCAA? I think the NCAA has washed their hands of the whole damn charade.

“Embrace the journey”…what fricking clown. Embrace the bench bitch.

Juice Wells, which you poached from SC did the exact same thing.
Quit crying.

Or you could write a contract a little more carefully so you don't get burned by a kid who can't play. Isn't that difficult

I agree with this. Put all the money in a trust that pays out when they graduate, which can be at anytime during their lifetime.

I believe after next season he will be out of eligibility since his clock started in the 2021 season. He's also exhausted his JUCO playing eligibility having already played 2 seasons of JUCO. Not really sure what his options are at this point football-wise.
Why should his eligibility be exhausted? I legit don’t see why people have to abide by eligibility rules anymore either if they’re employees. We should be figuring out who’s going to the next Tebow after he wrapped up his 13 year ncaa career.

but I don't see why these NIL deals aren't contractually binding. If they are, then make it at least a 2yr and performance based.
Once again….try that and see how it works out for you.

It’s wild how people still don’t understand what NIL is.

So the better idea is to throw cash a HS kids and portal kids.... and then hope you get lightning in a bottle for one year?
Paying kids to play sports in college is basically hiring a mercenary.

I never said what was the "better or worse" idea.
Just that....you go ahead and try that idea while other schools don't and see how that works out.

Interesting....i've been saying the same about head coaches for a while now.

Before NIL players already couldn’t get paid (by the NFL) until they’ve been in college for 3 years. You just reinvented NCAA football back to the days of Maurice Clarett .

You do know he doesn’t have a lambo, right?
The whole scenario you just made up.

Kiffin has always brought in high talent, high risk kids. NIL isnt the factor people think it is. Every school is offering money. All NIL has done is highlight money tiers that were already there between programs large and small.

Yeah it’s a shame it only started happening the last three years

Boosters donating to NIL either hate money or are retarded... or both.

Everyone likes to blame the players, but it's the greedy coaches and win-at-all costs fans who steered the car in the ditch by making college football a hell of a lot more important than it should be.
