It's our 17th SEC title. I'm pretty sure we know what winning the SEC looks like, and giving up 20 hits in one game at home doesn't look like winners. Sweeping on the road to end the season.... That's your SEC champs

Who wins the baseball? The regular season or tournament winner? I have no idea. Do we have to acknowledge both?

Yes. But baseball purists acknowledge a regular season title reflects the best program.

What's really interesting is that some of these LSU fans posting tonight were dogging the hell out of their team a couple of months ago. Ah, the fair weather fan...what would we do without them.

As good as Florida was at the first of the season, the typical O'Sullivan team showed up late in the year. I will gladly share the SEC Title.

It's just like basketball. The regular season champion(s) is/are the SEC champion(s), the tournament champion is the SEC Tournament champion. You don't have to acknowledge anything, but this is how the SEC acknowledges them.

Of the top five teams in the final SEC standings, LSU is the only one who played all four of the others. Not only did LSU play all of them, they played them all on the road and had a winning record against them (7-5).
Florida played two, LSU and Kentucky, both at home, and went 4-2.
Kentucky played three, Mississippi State and Florida on the road, LSU at home, and went 4-5.
Arkansas played two, Mississippi State and LSU, both at home, and went 4-2.
Mississippi State played three, Arkansas on the road, Kentucky and LSU at home, and went 2-7.
