Kind of like Ben Simmons parents moving from Australia to Baton Rouge? Interesting take you have there.
This needed to be bumped. Done.

didn't they say that they were going to do that continuously during his recruiting? Doesn't seem shady at all if they have been saying "we are going to follow our son to be near him in college" for the past year and finally do it.

Just ask anyone on this thread. They are certain that it is shady or not up to standard.
Maybe his mom is a nurse and can find work anywhere. Maybe his dad works in an isureance agency. It's not like you can't relocate in the country.
If my kid was a 5 star QB, and he decided to go to a far away college to play and I really had no need that I had to stay where I am, I would be really tempted to move nearer to him, so I can see him play, plus provide some family and moral support for my child.

Sure will be nice for him to be able to get away and see family when he needs to IMO. These people hating on Tua's family helping him improve his college experience is sad.
SAD!!!!
SAD!!!!

Julio lived in Aaronville and his mom worked at Church's Chicken in Foley and when Bama came into the picture they moved into a Booster's home in Summerdale and Julio started driving a Escalade, I live in the area and it's common knowledge around here. That's pretty good for a single mom on a Church's Chicken salary.

My opinion on this is that I just wish South Carolina could get away with doing these types of things.

It's good to be king. Try harder with your own program rather than making stuff up and you might knock BAMA off the thrown. This petty little whining will never make you a winner. It just makes us laugh.

I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for the move. His dad probably took a position in AL similar to one that he had in HI, like poi chef. Lots of people in AL like poi, and a restaurant to serve that need is long overdue. Plus there are similarities in the states. For example, HI is an island and AL is an intellectual island.

B/c he lived an hour from campus during a time when South Carolina was having one of its best periods in the history of the program and he went to a high school where South Carolina had a history of successful recruiting.

Ugh, poi is the worst.
If bird crap and my daughters diapers had a baby it would look like poi.

FWIW, said booster that he got car from was not in the SEC, Oklahoma...

Y'all are here talking about cheating and I'm sitting over thinking about the culture shock the family is in for with this move

Is there a program where native Hawaiians get $ from the state every year?
I'm pretty sure that Alaskans get a yearly income from the state, and I thought Hawaiians did as well. Could be wrong.

there might be something, but Alaskans get money because of the oil drilling

I think that's to entice people to move to Alaska, the largest state but small population. I don't think we want too many people moving to the small islands of Hawaii.
