they just ran their 40s at the combine. their 40 times are in the news and relevant today. yall talked a lot of shite leading up to the game. so much shite in fact, that some of it is still being proved wrong to this day. deal with it. to the victor goes the spoils. dont act like LSU fans wouldnt be giving us the same shite if they had won.
Well Ftr you're actually bashing our slowest LB in Baker.
The speed talk was about the Dline. Specifically the DE position. Its well warranted and will show by next years combine results. We've known our LB's were meh for forever.

no memphis. i've never seen it argued on here that LSU DEs are faster than Bama DEs because everybody knows that is the case.
the talk was LSU's fast LBs as compared to Bama's "fat and slow" LBs. no one is saying that LSU fans said that the LSU LBs were better, just that they were faster. now bama fans are pointing out that argument as being bullshite.
although, you make a good point that Baker is the slowest LSU LB (i'll take your word for it). that lends credibility to the original LSU argument that their LBs are faster than Bama's.

I'm pretty sure they compared your LB's to our speed back in Ford. It was all the talk about the option hurting your "fat and slow" LB's. I always argued they weren't fat or slow. They were gassed from running sideline to sideline since they weren't conditioned or prepared for our option attack,
Ftr as a whole our LB's were faster. Two were former safeties. You do the math there. Hatcher and Francious may suck hind tit, but they had speed and were faster than 4.6

i agree that some tiger fans did, but starting 2-3 threads a day for the past month and a half rubbing it in our face is pretty childish. It doesn't rile me up because it's just football, but act like you have been there before and try to remember you are grown men talking shite on the internet

agreed, but only when the topic was matchups. when the topic was defensive comparisons, the argument was LSUs LBs were faster than Bama's but Bama's were better overall. these two teams were analyzed over and over and over and then we did it all over again.
ftr, it was a solid argument by LSU and really the only one that could be made when comparing the LBs corps of both teams.

see, its still an argument you can make today. so yall cant be mad when the 40 times come out and we impeach your claims.

Y'all weren't better than is on Nov.5th. It's not LSU fault your coach decided on kicking fg out of your kickers range. When a team wins a game, they are better. If LSU had been tied at the half with Tenn , all you Bama fans woulda been talking shite. Most of the time if you outrush your opponent you win. And we out rushed y'all. Sorry but LSU was the better team on Nov. 5th. No question about it.

Frankly, I'm glad he's gone. He could not keep his mouth shut to the media.
Apparently there was a reason he was utilized less than expected in the passing game.

Problem is you weren't the better team all year long. You were the better team on the One night that mattered most.
I would take issue with this. Even on 11-05-11, we were the better team...with the exception of our PK. Our other 23 were better than your 23.
No. Doubt.

If you really think about 66 yards and 2 more first downs = better then whatever.
Posted on 2/27/12 at 6:53 pm to memphisplaya
Not to mention Saban made some questionable decisions in that particular game.

Ryan Baker isn't that good.

It's so funny yall are acting like this. After the Nov. 5 game this place had about 5 cursive A's around. That's it. Yall are a joke sometimes.
I was here, congratulating you on your win.

Except you weren't. When you lose it means you didnt capitalize on opportunities. Sorry. You lot at home in front of 100,000 gumps. You weret better. The 9-6 score proves you weren't. Y'all were out rushed. 90% of the time the team that leads in rushing wins. No difference here.

It's okay. We won were it was apparently impossible to win and the turf was suppose to make you faster.

Watching Hightower on film and in highlights certainly doesn't look like he's running a 4.62,
I also said this about Cam, but that MoFo could fly. He had the DECEPTIVE speeds.
Sorry guys, I'm just now getting to this thread and I am finding it to my liking.

I just checked the NFL combine tracker
LINK
and it shows 4.88 for Baker and 4.68 for Hightower.
3 cone shuttle - Baker 7.21 and Hightower nothing. Did he sit it out?
20 yard shuttle - Baker 4.35 and Hightower nothing again. Did he sit this out too or is he running it later?
Could it be that Hightower is fat and slow if he's in a drill that requires him to change direction?

+1 on your post, but could you immagine what it would have been like had LSU won??? If a BAMA fan said the sky was blue after Nov. 5 there would immediatley be 10 LSU fans hollering 9-6.
