I was outside the stadium for this one. There was about a three second delay between the TV I was watching and the live action, so I heard the sound of the catch before I saw it. I can vouch for the fact that this was the loudest single moment I've ever heard at Jordan Hare (although the ending of the 1989 Florida game was a close second!)

Those of you who think this was the loudest need to visit other stadiums to have a chance to know what you are talking about. There have been so many louder moments.

Too bad Auburn would go on to do NOTHING with that

They won the SEC. I guess LSU fans tell themselves that's nothing because it's been so long.

Great moment, but I can't believe kick six wasn't bigger.

Kick Six was defiantly bigger and more crazy but for the 20 seconds after Lewis caught that ball in the Georgia game, the stadium shook like something I have never felt. I was thinking it was going to fall down.

Georgia had taken control of the game and nobody thought we would convert muscles score and take the lead. It went from zero to 1 million in a split second.

Kick Six had some time to build while Davis did the run back. The eventual celebration was bigger for it but for the first 20 seconds, it was deafening when that lucky pass got caught

Was there for both. Will never forget either

I can’t fathom the amount of noise in JHS from the slow murmur the moment Chris Davis caught the ball on the Kick 6 until the outburst when he crossed midfield and was out in the open by himself.

My wife who has no love for either Auburn nor Bama was jumping up and down and yelling in our living room during that play.

The Cock Block has to be the moment, for the sole reason it was the rare instance that everyone knew the exact moment when the game was won, instead of the moment being drawn out over a few seconds.

Then you should have titled your thread "Second Single Loudest SEC Moment EVER".

We literally made the fricking earth shake.

skyler green in 03 isn't possible to be topped IMO.

Easily the loudest Tiger Stadium day game moment for sure. I sat right above the UGA fans in the lower bowl for that game and I have several great memories from that game. One of them being an UGA fan screaming “don’t you do it, don’t do it!” as an UGA receiver looked like he was going to block in the back on the 85 yard screen play that tied the game for UGA with about 4:00 left.

For me personally it was2006 at the Swamp. Jarvis Moss blocked a Carolina field goal that was gonna be a game winner for us. I was there and it was an sound explosion. The Gators went on to win the natty that year. I have cursed Moss' name since. There was no way Ryan Succop was gonna miss that field goal. He had been nailing 45 plus all year.
