During just the last 10 years, a period where OM hadn't seen that much success, we have been to more quality bowl games than State has been to in the history of the program. I'll take it.

The history of our program? We've been to 2 Orange Bowls and the Cotton Bowl so this is false

Never mind I'm a dumbass.
Still that's 3 quality bowls, and we've been to 3 in the last 10 years.

LOL, Omaha. Have fun there. Though it'll probably seem like quite a cosmopolitan city for you.

well little squaw, I was referencing the winner of the SECCG went on to win the BCS title, but you are correct. You can make it to the SECCG and win it and not win the BCS title. my apologies.

I guess it is lost on you that two of those NCAA events and one is a SEC event.

Read Cdawg's post. He makes it very valid point that you have to win the SEC championship to get to the BcS. Unless you have a sniveling fricking coach that takes his opportunity as a co host of said SEC championship game to beg for a shot to play in it.

LOL wut?
LSU and Arkansas have both made it to playing in a BCS bowl without playing in or winning the SEC Championship, off the top of my head, may have been others as well.

Yeah, I was just glancing at the thread summary and... "National... regional... national."
