Wait until they have coached at least ONE year before they can even be considered?

Moorhead - I have him ranked here simply because we haven't seen what he can do as HC

Moorhead HAS been a HC at Fordham. Inherited a 1-10 team and went 6-5 his first year.

2012 Fordham 6–5
2013 Fordham 12–2
2014 Fordham 11–3
2015 Fordham 9–3
Fordham: 38–13

Guess I should've been more specific and put FBS, still like I said I suspect he will do very good next season and move up the ranks quickly. He's a fantastic hire.
I simply have him ranked lower due to lack of experience as a HC in FBS

Fordham is in what division again? Why would rank him higher than Luke right NOW. Look, he will probably be a better coach but Luke at least has a year in the SEC under his belt. You can’t compare Fordham to SEC.

Yes because he took Auburn from 3-9 to the National Championship game in 1 season

wasn't gus the coach of that 3-9 team? it seems to me that his teams are boom or bust; not consistent at all. he came damn close to being fired last year.

The "Wizard" debate would indicate he is too low

Bill Snyder may be the greatest CFB in FBS football for getting local 3 star kids within 200 miles of Kansas State and still making them competitive especially at his age when he is several generations removed from recruits. I view Dan in a similar way as going to Starkville and getting way more with way less. Sure Saban is at the top but Alabama has both history and size to recruit no matter who is their coach.

Saban
Mullen
Gus
Kirby
Jimbo

The next 8 are a toss up

Any coach at Ole Miss would have a hard time breaking into the mix. It will be hard to rank Luke for a few years

If Georgia makes the title game and loses Kirby would be just a hair below Gus.
Gus has won his division (which is a tougher division) twice. Kirby has won his once, which is partially a result of it only being his second year. In another year he will probably be above Gus if he doesn't win the title this year

He was the guy on the second season of fear factor that had to eat a bunch of bugs

Given equal talent, I would probably take Mullen over any of them to win games.

When you talk about all of the head coach responsibilities to build and maintain a program, I think OPs list is a winner.

Cool...with all of the changes, I guess I missed him being hired.

Any ranking of SEC HCs that doesn't have Luke dead last is shite.

Muschamp above orgeron is just ignorant. LSU did go 9-3 this season you know? We should get 10 wins by beating notre dame in the citrus too.
