1.Saban - who else
2.Gus - has beat Saban twice, Kirby once, national runnerup, has won SEC once, the West twice
3.Kirby - won the SEC and is in playoff in second season
4.Jimbo - has an NC but is ranked lower than Gus and Kirby cause FSU sucked this year
5.Merlins - Built MSU up from nothing, got them ranked 1 a few years ago
6.Muschamp - Flamed out at Florida but, he's rebuilt South Carolina in two years and next year they will be a tough team since alot of their players are freshman/sophomores
7.Eaux - Ranked here because in spite of the Troy fiasco he kept things from going full meltdown and salvaged the season (unlike Lyle)
8.Chad Morris - did a good job building up SMU from nothing, will put up points, solid hire by hogs (as I expected)
9.Stoops - has revived the corpse that was our football program, going bowling for second season, things that are very difficult to do at UK
10.Barry Odom - Has biggest Oline in the country and saved his job by putting together a comeback at the end of the season
11.Matt Luke - got his team to six wins in spite of sanctions, takes some effort to do that
12. Moorhead - I have him ranked here simply because we haven't seen what he can do as HC in the FBS, he's been an OC, he could easily move up by next season (My guess is he will, good hire)
13. Mason - he's been able to win conference games at Vandy, though he hasn't had the success Franklin had there
14. Pruitt - It's not Lyle, but he's insane and doesn't know what asparagus is, don't know how good he'll be as a HC
2.Gus - has beat Saban twice, Kirby once, national runnerup, has won SEC once, the West twice
3.Kirby - won the SEC and is in playoff in second season

Kirby over Gus.
Muschamp's too high.
Pruitt's not the worst. But TN fans will think he is.

Yes because he took Auburn from 3-9 to the National Championship game in 1 season, has beaten Kirby once, and has 2 wins against Bama as well as an SEC championship, if Kirby wins national title he'll be above Gus

National runner up on a team that won off of pure luck.

And yet you have Jimbo below Gus based on one season, so why is Gus getting the benefit of longevity?

With Gus' body of work, and Kirby's limited resume as a HC, I'm okay with it.

Because Jimbo tends to do average-bad without a great QB

swap Kirby and Gus and this looks right
Pruitt may well have a lot of upside
I hope he does well

Imposter Chad shouldn't be #2, that's Saban's spot.
Real Chad is obvi #1

I would flip 2 and 3 but otherwise pretty good

I am alright with GUs being above Kirby for now in year two

I mean no disrespect to Kirby, he as done a fantastic job. If he wins out this season, or has another season like this one next year he will be above Gus

Moorhead was a HC at Fordham and destroyed the Patriot League with his teams. He beat Florida in a BCS game while the OC at UConn. He took over a Penn State offense reeling from sanctions and implemented a revolutionary blend of the spread offense and West Coast QB’s under center. He will win at any school he goes to because he is ultra competitive and all he does is win. He will soon replace Muggins as the 3rd best coach in the league.

Could also add, won the SEC once, the West twice. I mean winning the West with Saban in your division isn't the easiest thing to do.

Calm down Nancy, Kirby could very easily be firmly above Gus in a few weeks. (Well not easily, but you know what I mean, the opportunity for a NC is there)
