Alabama lost more games from 2000-2007 than ever in my lifetime so it was no mean feat to beat Alabama during those years. Auburn won 6 in a row during that stretch. LSU, even with Saban, didn't do that.

But congratulations I guess.

The time right before Saban (ie- read 2000s) what was Bama record vs LSU?

Bama has owned LSU for 100 years. Bryant was 16-3 vs LSU. Stallings was 6-1. Saban is 10-4. The only time LSU has ever had a streak of more than 4 wins was the Shula years.

When Saban is gone, Bama will go right back to being what they were before he got there. Won a title in 1992, didn't win another title till 2009. Without the best coach in college football history, it will be a big drop off.

And LSU is going back to where they've been starting next season.

I am not saying LSU will win the west every year but the ONLY reason LSU lost sooo many in a row to Bama is because of MILES. It was pointless to even play those games. Miles is a straight-up dumb arse.

"Going back to what they were" for Bama means averaging 1 National Championship and 2 SEC Championships per decade.

2000-2006 is not the norm for Alabama (or LSU). LSU can't count on sanctions and scholarship reductions for Bama for LSU to have an uneven advantage.

I can't disagree with that, they won't be bad, but they won't be loaded with the number 1 recruiting class every single year, or 3 out of 4.

You coonasses still don't realize that by comparing LSU to Alabama using insignificant statistics taken out of the blue, you are indirectly proclaiming Alabama's dominance of the SEC. Your envy is appreciated!

It was shite... UA only beat LSU once during that time span... most of that was when Nick was in Crimson Stick.

BTW, the one loss was a shite kickin'... by a Dennis Franchione coached team... frickin Nick.

I can't argue that point, but it does seem to me ya'll kept his arse around for some reason.

Maybe we can compare the H2H record only pre-Saban...

He won enough to stay somewhat relevant.

His coaching record outside of LSU is pretty underwhelming.

LSU isnt the hardest program to recruit well and win at as evidenced by each of our last three head coaches winning a title and Miles going to two.
