No. We find it funny that LSU fans must:
A) acknowledge their run started when Saban got there. Before him, their national title drought was more than Georgia's current drought.
and
B) must go back 20 years instead of ten in order to avoid mentioning that LSU is 3-8 against Alabama/Saban over the last ten years.

Is this why Alabama had to hire Saban too?

The time right before Saban (ie- read 2000s) what was Bama record vs LSU?

Moral victory? In that same time span, LSU has won three national championships. Were those moral victories too?

When was the last time LSU failed to beat a ranked team in an entire season?
I know for A1abana, it was 2019.
Just not sure if it's ever happened to LSU, this millennium.

So a bowl game is not part of an entire season?

When Saban is gone, Bama will go right back to being what they were before he got there. Won a title in 1992, didn't win another title till 2009. Without the best coach in college football history, it will be a big drop off.

This is getting really old, really fast.

And LSU is going back to where they've been starting next season.

"Going back to what they were" for Bama means averaging 1 National Championship and 2 SEC Championships per decade.
2000-2006 is not the norm for Alabama (or LSU). LSU can't count on sanctions and scholarship reductions for Bama for LSU to have an uneven advantage.
