Kirby is 5-3 (63%) against rotating west teams. Quiiiiiiite a bit higher than 28%.

The only two he’s beaten are A&M and Mississippi State

Surprised OSU isn't the 2 or 3 spot.

They'll move up. Three of the starting offensive linemen announced today that they're coming back.

That's my bad, I was including auburn. Thought you meant our regular season west opponents yearly. Figures AU would skyrocket the percentage though.

Sooo playing your way it's 2-2 then or 50%. Still might higher than 28.

IN fact, Kirby is 2-5 vs west teams that aren’t named Auburn, which amounts to

A 28% win pct

Lost to Ole Miss

Lost 2x to LSU

Not all of us can be fortunate enough to play Slawburn every year. Hope this helps

why do you get to pick and choose which ones not to include? How bout "only west teams named mississippi state" or "west teams east of the mississippi without a red based color in their scheme"

Then Pruitt and Kirby would likely have the same record vs those teams in your criteria

Iwabh, beating Gus and Auburn really isn’t an accomplishment

How about Tennessee? Why not include them?

There are 6 teams in the SEC west that are rotational opponents to Georgia.

They are 2-5 vs those 6.

Glad I could help

Eh, 2 or 3 will end up unranked but according to many LSU fans you can still count them as top 16 opponents.

AU played 5 of the top 10 schools in the final pre-bowl AP poll and has a date with #16 on NYD.

With Bama's defense on the decline and combined with no QB, RB, and losing all their WRs isn't going to lead to them improving.

Also aTm at 7 wtf?

Many of these preseason polls are based off of returning starters plus recruiting class ratings.

A&M will return (assuming wholesale changes don't happen on the offensive line) 10/11 starters on offense, 10/11 starters on defense and 1/2 kicking starters for a total of 20/24 returning starters, including 10 seniors (QB, 2xWR, 3xOL, 1xDL, 1xLB, 2xDB) and 5 juniors (1xDL, 1xLB, 2xDB, PK). Add that to the last two recruiting classes having rankings of 3 and 6 respectively and that's the metric these publications use.
