Performance has little to do with expansion teams. It's about t.v. revenue and market expansion. Texas A&M already gives us Texas. Mizzou gives us Missouri. If any other team joins, it will be from a state not currently in the SEC.
Why do you want to expand the SEC? What is the point? How will that benefit the SEC?

You’ve never been to Lubbock, have you?

We’re comparing which midget is taller but give me Lubbock.

I’d kick out State and add Tech.

My bad. I didn’t realize you were comparing Tech’s academics to that of LSU.
I agree, it’s a close call.

Has anyone done a comparison of STD cases between Baton Rouge and Lubbock?
It would be pretty hard to exceed Lubbock.
LSU=Piss balloons
Tech=D cell batteries.
What is your preference?

Invite TT, switch Missouri to west, Auburn to east and invite Miami.

The pac 12 should invite them, Texas tech is a western not southern school

UCF or FSU, just a team from the sunshine state to help beat up on Florida.

I see this has been covered, but this has to be one of the most inaccurate posts I’ve ever seen. Well done.

Dead lord have you ever met a Miami fan? They're the worst kind of college football fan.
I put them up there with Ohio State fans

No
TTU is a grown up/better version of Georgia Southern or Troy or UCF or UL
The SEC should never take second rung schools from their respective states. I mean, sure, we end up with comparable schools like MSU and LSU because of the quality of the states, but we're not digging below top tier.

On the other hand, it would be nice to make fun of their field flooding
or to have tortillas thrown at you by opposing fans (great tradition, imo)

TTU, to its credit, has really improved its status in the world (similar to UCF and others). But it's still like the 6th choice medium/large school in Texas and it shows
