Particularly as TTU doesn't add any great history, academic record, cultural aspect, etc. It's a bland and mediocre school in the middle of nowhere that is good at sports

Here's guessing that more corndogs are consumed per capita in Texas than in Louisiana.
I don't think any charter member of the SEC would be kicked out. It would be a Johnny Come Lately like "Yell Leader U". A&M does not really have any pedigree to be a part of the SEC. They suck at virtually everything other than cash.
FWIW, the SEC isn't adding Texas Tech or any other former SWC program.
