UL has a nice program in Lafayette, but will never see the SEC. They add nothing geographically or additional tv market share. The last expansion choices were the TX & MO markets while Clemson applied & was denied. SEC did not need another SC school.

Nice thought, but never happen.

"Their academic pedigree puts LSU's to shame". An opinion. Do provide a link that reflects this as a factual statement. I thought so.

He can’t come up with any proof. He is just one of those hate LSU idiots and is trolling.

A soft arse cross division and OOC schedule, returning a Sr. QB along with 77% of last seasons offensive production, and O/U below 10 wins.

If it would give LSU fans a healthy outlet for their obsessions and insecurities, then sure. I’d love to see a “Battle of the Bayou” type rivalry or whatever it will be called.

They used to come to Baton Rouge for asskickings pretty regularly.

Hasn't been successful. The number of times they have played in Baton Rouge is almost as high as the number of points they've scored against LSU in the series history.

Baseball is another story.

Cute? I don’t calculate the odds.
As I said in another thread, Vegas big time flubbed LSU this year.

Yeah, you're pretty flexible like that.

Napier is a good one to watch, but I think he needs another good season in the Sun Belt before an SEC team should take a chance.

Yes. I was thinking since so many here have so much at stake with the "University of Louisiana" thing that it would certainly be based in fact and not a weak attempt at trolling.

I continue to give asshats here far too much credit

Of course it is a Troll, I realize that.

However, I literally hate that that entire University and its Administrators and how they try to wiggle around the Law then have this crap about the name of the University.

So you never know, some ULL Admin might be here, or some UUU LA LA graduate might be here so I just wanted to state the facts.

And I have been here since 2012, other than a few Aggie Posters, I don't do much trolling, and that is only in response to their trolling.

Just for the record.

I think they've succeeded in getting their athletic teams labeled as "Louisiana" and their university is UL-L.

It's a little confusing.

Oh I agree, I think that is what has happened, since the State Law that allowed ULL and ULM to be designated as such did not specifically address sports monikers, there is a legal loophole as you state and as I mentioned in an earlier post. So unless other Universities push for the LA Courts to give an opinion or the State Legislature and Governor to pass specific language to address this loophole, I think that is where we are. The University is ULL and the Sports Monikers are Louisiana or Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns, etc.
