Should the highest value schools leave these conferences and make a new power conference, shedding the deadweights like Vanderbilt and Ole Miss (apparently they’re racist)?

What schools should be in this conference? e.g. Michigan, Ohio State, LSU, Texas

I found an Aggie. Why don’t you like the idea? Bigger pie, bigger split, no freeloaders.

They are both founding members of the conference dumbass. They won't be kicked out.

Which is why we make a new conference dummy. No SEC, no B1G, maybe we just call it LIV?

I don’t get why y’all are so offended. Is the SEC some kind of emotional object for you? You know, the kind that makes you bark for no logical reason in its defense, like a dog?

It's really the next step. Then will be broken into North and South.

The Big 10 would happily take Vanderbilt over most of the SEC conference.

You might be trolling but this is going to eventually happen unless cfb moves away from professional model. About 50 teams will realize they’re 90 percent of the money generator and collective bargain like the nfl.

I do think eventually you end up with the SEC and Big10 acting as the AFC and NFC. I hate the idea of it, but it does appear that the sport is headed in this direction.

However, you need more schools than currently in both conferences for it to be viable.

Personally, I think we end up with something like 30 schools in each conference with it being like:

SEC East:
UVA
VT
UNC
NC State
South Carolina
Clemson
UGA
Tennessee
Vandy
Florida
FSU
Miami
Alabama
Auburn
Kentucky

SEC West:
Ole Miss
Miss St.
LSU
Texas
A&M
Arkansas
Oklahoma
Mizzou
Kansas
K-State
TCU
Houston
SMU
Baylor
Texas Tech

B1G East:
Maryland
Rutgers
Penn St.
Ohio St.
Michigan
Michigan St.
ND
Purdue
Indiana
Syracuse
Pitt
Illinois
Northwestern

B1G West:
Nebraska
Minnesota
Iowa
Iowa St.
Washington
Oregon
USC
UCLA
Stanford
Cal
Utah
BYU
Arizona
Arizona St.
Colorado

End up with a top flight of approx. 60 teams which should keep enough fans interested to keep viewership / interest up.

No. Stop trying to run the sports car that is college sports over the precipe that is pro sports.
