Obviously yall will blow them out either way so no real impact. But this combined with filling out the roster gives Sankey the appearance of being in charge and lets everything cool off significantly before SEC play starts.

The point isn’t that he broke a specific rule, the point is that doing this would give everyone in charge an off ramp to de-escalate without feeling like they were losing. SEC feels like they made their point, LSU gets back in good standing with other members, and no actual games or financial interests are impacted.

Why would LSU suspend him? That would mean he is guilty of something. And since he did something wrong, again, why in the world would we suspend him?
