If the portal is allowed to remain status quo, the addition of this bill should change the face of CFB, Remains to be seen how.

It’s not the universities job to support the players family across the country. Play football, heres a free education to better your life. The university doesn’t have anything to do with the players 8 aunts and uncles and 17 cousins

Georgia is latest state to enact NIL legislation effective July 1, 2021. The law allows teams to require athletes to share NIL revenue w/ their teammates and to hold the payments in escrow until the student graduates or 12 months after the student leaves

Another addition that shouldn't exist

There can also be team chemistry issues when one player gets way more attention. I think we may have had a bit of that in the Tua era.

Imagine if he'd been raking in a lot of extra money too.

Between this and the new transfer rules (no sitting out), I worry our favorite sport is about to go to shite.

You think football players are the only people on campus with struggling families?

Multiple sources at GT also confirm they will not participate in profit sharing. Athletes will be free to keep what they earn.

Being in Atlanta surrounded by major money and Geoff Collins already aligning with a branding company for the players to assist the players with branding will help immensely. Doesn’t hurt when Jamie Foxx shows up to workout at GT and throw some balls with the team. He was all over GT football social media this week. GT very strategically placed to take advantage of this.

The University can take 75% of a player's endorsements? How is that going to go over with the football guys?

I don’t see any school that intends to be competitive athletically doing that. It would cripple a school like UGA to take 75%.

I don't either. Georgia takes 75% and Alabama allows the player all of his endorsement money. Where to choose gets a lot easier.
