I think he would've been let go anyway. Beating Bama every year isn't "good enough". Going 6-6 isn't up to Auburn's standards.

It's irrelevant because we're going to win.

And I admit my point is hypothetical but most observers believe that game will be as important as last years was.

So once again for you dummies, what happens SHOULD Alabama win that game? I did not say they would.
I said what I thought.

If Alabama wins I suspect LSU will go back to the drawing board, lick their wounds, and begin preparing for Mississippi State.

I disagree TT..Tubby held all the cards as long as he wins the Bama game.

Firing him at that point would have caused one hell of an uproar.

it won't be any different than the other 3 times Les has lost to a Saban led Alabama should LSU lose.

Not IMO. And I'm glad we told him to walk, because look at what all happened. Tubbs had dropped us to the bottom of the SEC West with his "diamonds in the rough" and lack of recruiting. He basically bent over and let Nick Saban PIIHB with the 2008 class, and Auburn has been feeling the after effects ever since.

Going 5-7 ot 6-6 should've cause enough of one in the first place, and did.

i think if Bama wins again it will be more pyschologically devastating for LSU than anything else. i dont expect miles to be fired. but i'll bet there will be dumbasses calling for it on the TR. also, i wouldnt want to be a bama fan in BR or NOLA if bama wins.

More or Less,it DID mean something. You are the SEC Champs and got the automatic bid to Atlanta.

Blame all the pussy teams that choked down the stretch for your loss to Bama.

Now TT isn't that better? An honest opinion posted by you, an honest disagreement.

I just think it would have caused a mess if he had been fired after beating Alabama once again.

Did he need to get run? Yes? Would he? I wonder.

You heard it here first. Lose that game to a three loss Bama team and Miles is in deep trouble. The meltdown will be epic.

If Saban loses to Les this year I think the idiotic redneck fanbase of Alabama will want to run him out of town for losing to a coach they perceive as mentally incapable with respect to Saban and being 3-4 against said coach.

Just give it up. It's been 3 pages and not a single Bama fan has come in to support you. You have lost this one badly.

We will revisit this string should this outcome happen I assure you. Just call me Antistradamus.

Any of you that don't think a lot of you will be here screaming for blood if Bama wins are being less than Honest.
