Should Auburn go to the East Div and UT to the West

before someone gets seriously hurt, per the geniuses on 740 WMSP in Montgomery? "The Realist" (who is a very entertaining caller even though he absolutely quit calling into the radio shows when UA won the NC last year...of course, he started calling back in when Auburn made their run this year) started the conversation and the host Doug said one of his Aub friends had emailed him similar proposals earlier today.

Unless they stop playing every year, why would that really help?

And for the record, I would definitely prefer being in the same division as Alabama.

I think UT is the 2nd farthest east in the league.

Trade Auburn and Vandy. The West is too strong and the East is Weak.

auburn needs Alabama on the schedule. Thats pretty much the only game thats a guarantee sellout for auburn.

AU would sell out all the games if we didn't have to send so many to guard the trees.

Not playing every year and moving the game into the middle of the season were two reasons for the proposal.

Added: I don't see it happening because as Parts said above, Auburn needs Alabama on the schedule to sell season tickets.

The UT/UA Rivalry got pretty heated a few years back. Before UT started sucking arse.
