Then tell him why he's wrong, coach. He's given you his reasons yet all you do is call him an idiot.

Me thinks you know he's right and are just salty that your high school coach can't get anyone to take over the defense in his last year.

Offer 1.5 million to get a guy whose defense gave up 55 points in their last game of the season (the most Mich St scored all year).

The Penn State defense was good for most of the year. The problem was the offense was beyond putrid. The Oline was terrible and the team hinged on good play from the qb. Some games he came through, most he did not. He was especially putrid in away games.

I know nothing from any sources, but I doubt Franklin would have let his DC interview without going ballistic like he did last year.

I'm acquainted with Jim Haslett and ran into him last week. When I asked him about the change at OC, he said that they should have fired the entire offensive coaching staff, and still may.

There's uncertainty around Malzahn, but you must remember, that high school coach was the reason AU went to the NC twice during his time at AU. What has UGA done?

I'm not salty over the DC search. We all know all Malzahn needs is a clicking offense to make it to the big game, so if the offense is on point it's a moot point.

Not sure that narrative plays outside of auburn. You don't get credit for a national championship as the offensive coordinator.

Guy's offense put up 44 on Bama last year. How'd that work out?

Cmon man. You specifically may not have but the vast majority of posters on this site stated Gus and Cam the only reason for 2010.

Nobody wants to take a job for a year. Everyone can see that Gus will be done after winning maybe 5 games next year.

I've heard Cam given all the credit by many people (particularly those who don't want to give auburn coaches any credit). I haven't heard people outside of auburn give Gus credit for 2010.

In my mind, the head coach gets the credit or the blame for the performance of the team.
